We gave them almost $25K in business building composite material deck and stone patio. The middle part of the deck was popping up within 2 years and they made us wait over 6 months to come and put a few nails around it. The owner Tommy Griest's excuse was that he was at his peak season working on new projects so he did not have time to come and fix the old projects (once where he had already collected all his money) and he replied very arrogantly to our emails. Now, within 5 years, the wood is developing cracks where we created diamond shape in the center of the deck to make it look pretty. I sent him pictures last year but he has not followed up at all. Not, only that he does even pick up the phone when sees our caller id. He is a young, disorganized and arrogant entrepreneur who only believes in doing business for all profit . When we got the deck built, he had even forgotten that we owed him some money after the work was done, we called him to come and collect his check or he would have never realized since he was so bad with his bookkeeping. When he comes to you for presentation, he brags "This is the last deck you will ever get", but that's not the fact. If anything ever happens afterwards, you will be wiping his feet to get his attention and you know what? You still might not get his attention.
I wish there was a way for me to post the photos so others can see how the cracks have been developing since last year and all the nails that popped out. Tommy brags about how he engineers his deck, but it's not worth falling for it if the material is going to fall apart so fast. Do not fall for this arrogant, young businessman's bragging; he is too busy collecting money.
