We purchased a 7 piece patio set and furniture covers from M & E Sales on their EBAY site. The item description states that the items come with a 5 year warranty and they also allege that the product can withstand "the harshest of conditions...". After (2) years, the chairs are falling apart, wicker is cracking and brittle. We called several times without a response. We emailed the company and they stated "We no longer carry the item due to slow sales, so we will not warranty it...". When I spoke to Jarod in customer service he told me that we apparently didn't cover the items well enough then told me that he would not cover it, but that he would tell the owner about the problem. I told him that based on the 10 complaints at BBB (with the same issue), that it would be in their best interest to resolve this, he stated (condescending) that the company handles thousands of orders, so 10 complaints is no big deal. Unfortunately it is if it happens to you. To date they refuse to acknowledge, honor and pay or make the situation right, looks like we are going to court. Buyer beware, stay clear of this company because if you have an issue, you will need to sue to get resolution.
