Crooked Company Steals from small business
I work for a local taxi business on Cape Cod. This company reached out to us about a ride one night for the following day and were booked for a ride from the Steamship Authority in Woods Hole going to Logan Airport. It was made and quoted and paid for as a regular vehicle for a total price of $270. The next day they call and tell us it is for 7 passengers plus all their luggage, which does NOT fit in any regular vehicle we have. We told them we would have to use our 11-passenger van to fit all of them and their belongings and that it is double the price and would have to charge them an additional $270 for the trip. This was not a problem with them and they gave us the card number and details over the phone. The ride was done and that was that.. or so we thought. Weeks later they called asking why we double charged them for this ride. I explained the situation and that they approved the second charge because of the vehicle size needed and VERBALLY gave me the credit card to pay for it. They said okay thank you. After this they DISPUTED the second payment. We gave the processing company the three separate emails showing the charges from THEIR company and still they were refunded. This is stealing and from a small business none the less. However, we are filing larceny over $250 and they will have to appear in Massachusetts for this. They are an awful company to do this to not only people trying to support their families but a small business in general. Just disgusting behavior.

The quote was emailed to travel agency as point to point pick up on January ***, stating pick up from address [redacted] and drop off [redacted] we never quoted a rate of waiting time and return.On February [redacted] this was confirmed by travel agency to be changed as reservation and confirmation email was sent, indicating amount due just for point to point pick upThere was no waiting time nor return included on the confirmationWhen this was told to Travel Agent she said to us that she never looked at the emailOn February [redacted] when we dropped off a passenger she asked us for a car to return, so we made a new reservation and sent a car , point to point with same amount due, and emailed confirmation to Travel agency.If necessary we can provide , prove of a quote and confirmations where you can see clearly indicating point to point, as well as all the emails sent to travel agency showing all these! And if anyone needs more details or information as how to read confirmation email, we are always ready to help !

 The response is an out right lie!!  I NEVER said I didn't read the email.  I did read the email and called several times to reconfirmthat the reservation was to bring them back at approximately 430PM.  I questioned it because it said "one way" and was told it wouldread that way since he was waiting on them.    I obviously have no way of proving these conversations took place and the booking agent was obviously scared for his job when I called him to back me up.Based on the horrid customer service I received I assumed this would be a waste of time but hoped that perhaps you could help.   I had hoped that at least in the interest of good business relation they would agree to pay at least part of the  cost.  PLEASE be sure that this complaint remains on their business info as unresolved and totally dissatisfied.
