We can certainly take account your shockwhen seeing the amount charged on your credit card statement.As a testament to our strive for perfection, we have taken steps to ensure that this will neverhappen again by creating company wide training sessions. In order to prevent this fromhappening in the future, I would like to ask you to provide us with any information you can,driver name, cab number, OCT A number or the name of the place where you were picked up. Inthe meantime, we have credited your account for the appropriate amount, as well as including820.00 in vouchers. We hope that this will be sufficient to correct the error and address anyinconvenience this may have caused you.Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will help us improve our operations and ourcustomer service. Review: On 3/25/14 we used this can service to go from the pier to the airport I have since been getting calls on my cell EVERY Wednesday Night at 11:50pm from a driver asking where I am for pickup. 7 months now ! I have called three times now to speak with a manager with only one return call 3 months ago stating that she would look into it and get back to me. After no change and continued calls I finally blocked the 714 numbers so the calls stopped waking me up every week, but the voicemails still got through. Today However, received one from a driver threatening me, and I have saved this message. I have call logs from my cell phone showing all of these calls. I expect this harassment to stop immediately. I do not live in CA and have not called them a single time other than to address this situation. I don't know if there is a bug in their call system or what but this must stop. Please contact me for resolution.Desired Settlement: I expect a call explaining what is going on and an answer as to how it will be stopped. I also expect a call from the owner. If not I will be seeking other compensation for 7months of harassment. I also believe I am due back my $55 cab ride.

Review: Saturday April 4, 2015. Fraudulent charges to my credit card by 1-800-4MY-Taxi driver license #[redacted]This complaint is against 1-800-4MY-Taxi policy against accepting any responsibility for their drivers actions and driver [redacted] license #[redacted] for unauthorized additional charges to my credit card. The cars are clearly marked with their 1-800-4MY-Taxi logo and phone number 1-800-200-0000, yet they are not responsible? The authorized posted rates are $3.50 for first 1/5 mile and $.55 per 1/5 mile after, but their drivers consult a map guide and quote a set price over and above the authorized rates without ever using the meter. This cab was waiting in a taxi queue servicing the [redacted] and was summoned by the doorman. On this particular trip, I needed to go 1.9 miles to my home from the [redacted]. Driver [redacted] license #[redacted] quoted me a price of $12.00 for a trip which should have been $8.45. I agreed as I have limited mobility, was in a lot of pain, and needed to get home. While I agreed to the inflated price, when I arrived at my house, I used my card as documentation as I fully intended to lodge a complaint against this driver. Driver [redacted] license #[redacted] slid my card through the reader at least 6 times before it transmitted. I signed for the $12.00 without a tip. Later a debit of $14.40 was charged to my account. I have submitted a fraudulent charge complaint to my bank. Per the 1-800-4MY-Taxi website: The taxi and transportation companies that [redacted] refers to by telephone, the web or otherwise, are independent companies that are not owned or operated by [redacted]. Because it does not own or operate any of these companies, [redacted] expressly disclaims any and all liability to anyone related to the services provided by any of these companies. Users must independently verify all information regarding these companies.How does one file a complaint against a company who allows criminals to blatantly operate under their advertised name?Desired Settlement: I wish to have the additional $2.40 unauthorized charges credited to my card, the drives notified of this action, and the company to provide contact point for complaints.
