I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This vehicle was NEVER considered in "excellent" condition by anyone at [redacted] CenterI was told the brakes (which to my knowledge were NEVER said to be replaced prior to purchase) had 40-50% use left on rear, and 50% on frontI was advised the purchase price was actually over the estimated value of this vehicle by aforementioned. In regards to the "warmth" issue of hood, which I was treated with condescension, I discussed this with another mechanic in the area, and was told this could be indicative of a problem considering the coolant level had dropped way below low when filled to halfway upon purchaseRecently I've noticed this vehicle to be making noise when key is turned to off positionThis seems to be coming from the door area where the power window levers areI also informed the air conditioner is not working at same capacity when originally purchasedI approached the owner of this business WELL before the "limited warranty" was complete, and was informed he was not going to be involved in the problemsI had two alignments done, spent hundreds of dollars to find out one of the tires was defectiveNone of these issues stated, out of courtesy for good business practices, and within a timeframe of under a month's purchase, will likely be attended to-aside from the rear right axle.I foresee electrical issues in the near future (as exampled by the straining noise heard when key is turned to "off" positionWhile satisfactory customer service is highly unlikely, I would like it be a matter of record, besides "random opinions" that this dealership stay listed with the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

The used *** *** purchased by *** * *** of *** *** Street, ***, New York, ***, was purchased with full knowledgeable disclosure on the part of the dealership and herselfShe was encouraged to take the vehilce to her own mechanic to have the vehicle pre-delivery
inspected before any exchange of fundingShe took the vehicle to her mechanic at *** *** in ***, where the mechanic inspected the vehicle, and found the vehicle to be in excellent condition with a minor drip from the valve cover gasket and a rear CV axle that was going to need to be replaced in the near futureShe returned with the vehicle and informed us of the desired repairs, which were promptly completed at no cost to ***During the purchase of the *** ***, it was stated that, due to the mileage of the vehicle being over 100,miles, there is no warranty on the vehicle either implied or writtenAfter the desired pre-purchase repairs were completed, and the purchase transaction, *** returned to the dealership several times with concerns that had been previously resolved prior to placing the vehicle on the lot for saleExamples of these concerns were break wear and noise when the brakes were completely replaced prior to purchase, asking why the hood of the vehicle was warm after being driven over miles on a warm sunny day, and tire noise from tires that were put on new prior to the vehicle being placed up for saleEach time *** returned, we talked to her about her concerns, and let her know that the car is not under warranty, but that we would check the car out and make sure that nothing had happened to the areas of concernWhen *** returned once again with a concern about the head gasket going bad we one again inspected the car and assured her that nothing was wrong with the vehicle because there was no evidence of a leak causing white smoke to come out of the tailpipe, or engine coolant in the oilThe evidence to which she referred was a slight seepage of oil from underneath the head, which is evident on a majority of *** engines, and is not considered to be a problem, as the seepage amounts to less than one fluid ounce of oil per oil changeIf the amount of seepage were a concern to the longevity or running condition of the engine and/or its' components, we would acknoledge and repair itBut, as inspected, it poses no danger to the engine and/or its' components, so long as regular maintenance is performed on the vehicleAt this time, after the complaint was filed with yourselves, the Revdex.com of *** *** *** ***, ***, New York ***, *** has once again returned to the dealership and requested servicesOn this visit we reinspected the vehicle for a head gasket leak and once again found the same seepage as before, and it has not increased, nor became any worry to the funcion of the engine or its' componentsWe inspected the axle and the housing to which it is mounted and we did see a small leak coming from the housing, and we will be replacing the axle seal to repair this issueWe have more than exceeded our responsibility for this vehicle, and have undertook several inspections that proved to be unnecessaryOnce the axle seal has been replaced, we consider this issue to be resolved and our responsibilities to this vehicle to be completeOwner Gary Stevens

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This vehicle was NEVER considered in "excellent" condition by anyone at [redacted] Center. I was told the brakes (which to my knowledge were NEVER said to be replaced prior to purchase) had 40-50% use left on rear, and 50% on front. I was advised the purchase price was actually over the estimated value of this vehicle by aforementioned. In regards to the "warmth" issue of hood, which I was treated with condescension, I discussed this with another mechanic in the area, and was told this could be indicative of a problem considering the coolant level had dropped way below low when filled to halfway upon purchase. Recently I've noticed this vehicle to be making noise when key is turned to off position. This seems to be coming from the door area where the power window levers are. I also informed the air conditioner is not working at same capacity when originally purchased. I approached the owner of this business WELL before the "limited warranty" was complete, and was informed he was not going to be involved in the problems. I had two alignments done, spent hundreds of dollars to find out one of the tires was defective. None of these issues stated, out of courtesy for good business practices, and within a timeframe of under a month's purchase, will likely be attended to-aside from the rear right axle.I foresee electrical issues in the near future (as exampled by the straining noise heard when key is turned to "off" position. While satisfactory customer service is highly unlikely, I would like it be a matter of record, besides "random opinions" that this dealership stay listed with the Revdex.com.

In Regards to purchase of 2002 [redacted] by [redacted] ID#[redacted] We were first notified on Saturday August 1st in the AM of a problem, not on July 31 as Mr [redacted] stated. When Mr [redacted] called he said "the truck started to smoke under the hood and pulled over as he was driving while towing...

somthing in Pa". The Salesman gave Mr [redacted] the Extened warranty infromation so he could call the claim in. Then on Monday August 3, Mr [redacted] called again and spoke with me, Gary Stevens, owner of #1 Preferred Used Cars, to tell me a mechanic looked at the truck, Mr [redacted] said " the AC compressor froze up and the belt started to smoke . Tried calling the warranty company but, it was Saturday and they were closed". So he had to wait till Monday Aug 3. What Mr [redacted] neglected to tell you is that he has a 2 year extended warranty on the truck that WILL cover the AC compressor that is needed. Mr [redacted] has a $100 deductabe warranty. The warranty company would NOT cover the freon that would be needed to put in the AC compressor but the rest of the repair is covered. So, that part of the repair was mostly covered. Mr [redacted] purchased the truck with 119,404 miles on it, therefore there is no coverage with #1 Preferred used cars. As far as the "blew a plug" thing, Mr [redacted] told me that it had a skip in the engine and the repair shop wanted to tune up the engine completely. I told Mr [redacted] to repair the AC problem first then, bring the truck to me and our mechanic would repair the skip problem. He said "the tune up was already done". Well at that point I can't help him. We would of concentrated on fixing what ever was causing the skip and not just replacing everything involved in a tune up. Mr [redacted] said the tune up was over $500. The last time Mr [redacted] called us was on August 11 and told the salesman that that he had a problem with one of the rear doors would not power lock with the power button, he had to lock the door manualy. My saleman told him to bring it by the shop and we would visually look at the issue and go from there. The time Mr [redacted] was told to bring it by was Aug 13 on Thursday. Mr [redacted] never brought the truck in. I would like to say Mr [redacted] bought a used vehicle with over 119,000 miles on it. There is no warranty per NY State L[redacted] law, but we did try and help. However Mr [redacted] does have a extended warranty that did help with the main issue.Sincerely Gary Stevens
