I ordered contacts and solution from them and received and empty envelope.
They would not refund, replace or even file a claim with the USPS.
I paid them $227.24 for the contacts and solution.
The post master said the package was delivered intact but it was a flat package and they did not note that it was empty.
All I was offered by the company was a 50% discount if I want to reorder their products.

Since the postmaster himself has confirmed that the package was in-tact at the time of delivery, there was not much we could do. However, we had already came to a resolution to process a full refund for the order.

Great customer service and fast shipping. Ordered 6boxes of lenses for the first time and they called in to make sure it wasn’t a fraud. Can’t be happier.

They sent me defective lenses and expect me to pay for return shipping to send out a replacement pair. One came torn, another blurred my vision. Clearly this is a faulty brand and they refused to issue a refund.

I lost my spare contacts before I was about to head out on vacation. I didn't have time to wait for my doctor to order them. So I paid for overnight shipping, which was a little bit more on the pricey side, but they were here the next day. Contacts came in great shape.

They have pretty good customer service here, despite seeing all these bad reviews. Apparently when I entered in my shipping address, I was missing an apartment number, which I was not aware of at that point. Then a customer service rep called me the next day to doublecheck the address with me since they told me according to Postal, there was a possibility of # number. I'm glad they called me back or else my package would have been sent back which would have been a nightmare. Other than that, there's nothing wrong

I have been buying contacts from Save-On-Lens for years. I always thought they had reasonable prices and quick shipping. However, I recently ordered one box of contacts (my prescription is the same in both eyes) to get me through until I get Lasik on August 9th. I typically do not wear glasses (not to mention they are broke and I have not gotten them fixed due to the fact that I will no longer be needing them).
I always buy Acuvue *** with 6 lenses to a box.The contacts took about a week for shipping (I ordered July 25th and received them July 31st), which was fine. However, when I opened the box, I realized there were only 5 lenses in the box. Upon further inspection, I realized that three of the lenses were for my prescription and that their lot number matched the one on the box, however the other two lenses were a different prescription and obviously did not match the lot number on the box.
Of course, I emailed customer service (with pictures), stating that all I wanted was my money back. Their response was that I would have to return the box to their manufacturer, but if my claim was jusified I would only get replacement lenses if I made a new purchase or paid $10.00 to have replacement lenses sent on their own. Here is their wording from their email:
"We are sorry to hear your experience. Kindly note we are more than happy to assist you to identify the problem. All the contacts we carry are from the original manufacturer. Acuvue 2 is one of the the best one. We do not have any reports of defective lens associated with Acuvue 2. Please note this is a very strange case and we have never seen this happened before in our 18 years history.
The manufacturer will examine the contacts to justify for defective return. Kindly note should the manufacturer deems the lenses to be defective, the replacement lenses will be issued in the same prescription. If your Rx has changed, then the replacement will not work for you. The replacement contacts will be shipped with your next order for free, or, there will be a fee of $10.00 to ship it alone."
As I am receiving Lasik soon, this would not even be worth it as I would not get the new lenses for another week or longer, and will no longer need them by the time they arrive. Therefor, I simply wanted a refund for the faulty box I received. Their customer service told me my claim was impossible and laughable. Once again, here is their exact wording:
"Please note your claim is basically impossible. Any contact lens user would know this would never happen. Every patient knows a contact lens box has its own lot number. It is a laughable claim. If you want to keep insisting on your accusation, you will need to authenticate it by sending it back to the manufacturer for verification. You can't expect a refund without solid proof."
Ultimately, I will gladly send the box back, but request a full refund versus replacement lenses. I also straight up told them I will leave negative reviews to warn others of their customer service. All I can say is thank goodness I am getting Lasik so I never have to deal with ordering contacts again. I would highly NOT recommend ordering from Save-On-Lens, just due to the chance that if you have something go wrong, they provide you no help in fixing their mistake.

I have been ordering contacts through them for quite sometime. Ts time, my contacts were stuck together. I emailed them to get them replaced, and was told I need the original prescription. I dont have that, and I dont see how they cant look my order form for the information. They are refusing to make this right! STAY AWAY

On 11/5/2017 I purchased a pair of *** contacts from Save on Lens. I was told they were "*** by Performance". I've worn *** contacts for over ten years now. When they arrived I attempted to wear them for 3 days, but they were extremely uncomfortable and moved around in my eyes. I contacted the seller and they told me to give it more time. More time did not change the problem. I was advised to send them back and I would receive a full refund, minus at $10 "restocking fee". I carefully placed them back into the original vials and mailed them to Save on Lens' warehouse. Upon receipt of the vials I was informed that they were empty. I know they were in the vials, but it appears that their warehouse personnel lost the lenses. Save on Lens refused to provide the refund. Then they offered to send me lenses that I didn't want, and were not even advertised on their web site. On January 6, 2018 Save on Lens moved forward and credited my credit card for $104.49, even though I had paid $213.38 for the lenses. I am asking that Save On Lens provide the full refund that they promised. Their advertisement of "*** lenses by Performance" is misleading and false advertisement.

Please note we only received empty glass vials from the customer. We have triple checked and no contacts lenses can be found. As such, nothing can be returned to the manufacturer for credits. We have communicated with customer but she insisted that she has included the lenses with the return. As a good will gesture, may I suggested that we split the cost with the customer? RegardsHarris

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:Please note that I am not satisfied with the response from Save on Lens.On November 5, 2017 I placed an order for a pair of *** daily wear contacts. I provided my prescription (***). Each lens cost $109.99, plus shipping/handling. Grand total for the order was $213.38 USD. The order was shipped out on November 16, 2017, and delivered on November 20, 2017. On November 27, 2017 I notified Save on Lens that the contacts were not working out for me after 3 days use. The contacts constantly moved around in my eyes and became cloudy. I was notified by one of their representatives that day that I should try wearing them for one more week to see if my eyes readjust to the new contacts. I attempted to wear them for several more days, but they were extremely uncomfortable and cloudy. I contacted Save on Lens December 5, 2017, and was told that *** lenses had been discontinued by the manufacturer and were no longer available. The contacts I had been sent were NOT *** lenses. I advised the representative that the only reason I ordered the contacts was that I had worn *** contacts for over 10 years and wanted the exact lenses. The Save on Lens website stated, “*** Daily Wear by Performance”. This was misleading and incorrect information. On December 6, 2017 I was told by the representative upon return I would be reimbursed for the lenses minus a “restocking fee”.On January 6, 2018 I was notified by the representative that Save on Lens could not locate lenses in the vials, but offered to refund the order less 50% process fee. Please note that I had carefully placed the lenses in the vials myself, and made certain that the lenses were in the vials prior to shipment to the warehouse. I advised the representative that this offer was not acceptable, the lenses were placed in the vials prior to shipment. The return policy states that if the product is unsatisfactory, a full refund would be made within 30 days of order excluding shipping and handling charges. On January 12, 2018 I received an email from one of their representatives stating that although Save on Lens alleged that I returned empty vials, they were willing to order and send me the custom made ***. I once again advised the representative that this was not acceptable. Not only is this brand of contact not listed on their web site, I do not wish to conduct any further business with this company. In closing, I ordered a pair of *** daily wear contact lenses from Save on Lens. I was not shipped the contact lenses that I ordered. If the order sent was *** daily wear contact lenses, at the prescription stated, there would not have been any issues with the contacts. The advertisement by Save on Lens was misleading, deceptive, and false regarding the *** daily wear contact lenses. Once again I am requesting full reimbursement for the contact lenses I sent back to the Save on Lens warehouse at the address listed on the return form. Sincerely,Eve ***

Sincerely,

Eve
