My complaint against the company 1Wall2rooms still stands.
 
I paid in full for the pressurized wall put in my apartment and now they are asking for additional cost of which was not in my original contract.
They are refusing to...

remove the wall now knowing that I need to take it down upon my approaching move out date unless I pay them $400.
 
Please help me as I have read reviews and I see I am not the only one who has had this issue with this company.
 
They also do not answer the phone that is listed on their website and only respond by email. 
Yesterday, Sunday, was my scheduled day for wall removal and I was emailed that the worker was no longer showing up as I waited there all day.
They then scheduled for today by email, with no confirmed time, and again did not show up for whatever reason and then emailed me that I had to pay $400 when that was never mentioned before.

Review: [redacted] of 1 Wall 2 Rooms Inc. required a $2000 cash payment to build pressurized walls in my new apartment. He came to my apartment, provided estimates, we agreed on a price and he said the work would be completed on 9/*/13. We arrived at our apartment to find half built walls and our apartment left an absoulte mess, the walls in the wrong places, woodshavings, moldings, paint, tools everywhere. I called [redacted] in a panic and he said that it took longer than expected because a door had to be switched and that he was booked with other jobs but would have someone come in on Thursday morning 9/* to finish the job and move the walls to the places we agreed upon. He said that I had to give him the full cash payment for them to finish the job. I hated to do this but thought it was the only way they would finish and we had already had to pay to switch out move in date since the apartment was in no condition to be moved into. He came to my office to pick up the full payment on 9/*. He guaranteed that they would be at the apartment first thing Thursday morning 9/* to have the wall completed so we could move in as soon as they were done. We arrived with our movers and all of our belonings to find that no one had showed up to do the work and our apartment was still in shambles. Since Wednesday night (9/*) [redacted] has been 100% unreachable. His cell phone is off and no one answers the company phone. I have called over and over, leaving voicemails, sending numerous text messages, emails and [redacted] messages. I have even sent faxes to the fax number the company provided. Absoutely ZERO response. I am stuck with an unlivable apartment and out $2000. I have been completely scammed by 1 Walls 2 Rooms and [redacted].Desired Settlement: I deserve to be fully refunded by these scam artists. They have wasted our time, energy, and hard earned money. I wish I had read their online reviews before using this company. They appear to be running a complete scam of a business. It's unbelievable they continue to get away with this.

Review: 1 Wall 2 Rooms put a pressurized wall in my apartment when I moved in. In my contract, it is stated that the wall removal is included in the upfront cost. Now that I am moving out they are not obliging to the contract. No one has answered the business phone and I have been calling for 2 weeks.

The email responses dance around the topic at hand and they have yet to schedule a confirmed wall removal with me.

When I first asked for the removal, they tried to charge me $600 additional.Desired Settlement: I need the company to remove the wall they installed in accordance to the contract we signed by the end of next week.

Review: I contacted the company in May of 2013 for a wall unit to be place in my apt. Via texts and emails, [redacted] (head of the company he told me) sent me wall picture options and discussed the payment and agreement of the wall guidelines verbally and in texts. He was extremely unprofessional and kept changing the prices on me, even though they were in the previous texts he sent me. He said that if I paid him in cash then he wouldn't charge me tax. He would email me my contract/receipt after installing the wall. I never received that. I paid $1075 for one pressurized wall to be put up. This fee included the installation and removal of the wall, as long as it was within a 2 year period. If it was past a 2 year period, you would be charged. I started contacting the company and [redacted] a month in advance prior to my move out date. They took forever to get back to me, were extremely unprofessional, and refused to work with me on scheduling a time to remove the wall. I expect the agreement to be completed by both parties, and now the wall company is refusing to take down my wall. This is unacceptable, and I now have to spend more money on finding a contractor to remove the wall. I think this company needs to return my money to me for causing me such an inconvenience. I recently have spoken to others that used this company, and they treated them in the same manner- leaving them hanging at the end of the year.Desired Settlement: I expect to get at least 2/3 of the amount I had to spend on the wall, if not the entire amount back. I will have to spend $500 now to get someone to remove the wall for me. The agreement was $1075.00 to have the wall installed and removed. Since the Company did not hold up their end of the agreement, I expect a full return. I also expect measures to be taken with this company owner and their work ethic. Their work is not professional at all.
