Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/10/23) */ Mr [redacted] called on that date and asked if we could repo a vehicleI explained we usually do not do reposessions, but would make an exception as long as its marked and ready etc., We never discussed storage fees, only the repo costWe did repo the vehicle, and sent pictures to show that it is in good condition etcExplained the $35/day storage fee, and advised he could send to auction etc., back to PA, which would cost a lot, and to let us knowWe did not hear back from him, but finally did connect a few weeks later, and agreed that he would send it to a local auctionI gave final price and he was unhappy with the priceHe offered to pay half, which we could not acceptHe insisted he had days of free storage, and did not owe that much moneyWe do not have any options that would include free storageIf we had agreed to, or offered days of free storage, it would definitely have been in the contract to protect both partiesWe did not offer free storage, and there is no indication of free storage in the repo order, or in the collection paperworkUnfortunately at this time because Mr [redacted] has done nothing with paying his bill, the car is in cold storage, accruing a daily storage fee, and will not be released until the bill is paidWe would be willing to discuss a compromise that we can both accept, however, we did do a job in good faith, and completed our portion of the agreementI hope that we can put this behind us soonThank you ***confirmed via phone Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 11, 2015/11/02) */

repo the vehicle, and sent pictures to show that it is in good condition etc. Explained the $35/day storage fee, and advised he could send to auction etc., back to PA, which would cost a lot, and to let us know. We did not hear back from him, but finally did connect a few weeks later, and agreed that he would send it to a local auction. I gave final price and he was unhappy with the price. He offered to pay half, which we could not accept. He insisted he had 15 days of free storage, and did not owe that much money. We do not have any options that would include free storage. If we had agreed to, or offered 15 days of free storage, it would definitely have been in the contract to protect both parties. We did not offer free storage, and there is no indication of free storage in the repo order, or in the collection paperwork. Unfortunately at this time because Mr. [redacted] has done nothing with paying his bill, the car is in cold storage, accruing a daily storage fee, and will not be released until the bill is paid. We would be willing to discuss a compromise that we can both accept, however, we did do a job in good faith, and completed our portion of the agreement. I hope that we can put this behind us soon. Thank you.
[redacted]confirmed via phone.
