On October 29, 2015, a supervisor with Ethical Electric spoke with *** *** regarding her complaint and was prepared to offer her a refund. During the call, the customer wanted to confirm information provided to her. However, she stated that she did not have copies of all of her invoices and stated that she would call us back As of current, *** *** has not contacted Ethical again regarding her account Upon receipt of *** ***'s follresponse with the Revdex.com, Ethical Electric again attempted to reach the customer by phone; however, we were unable to reach her. Ethical has determined a proposed refund and does not require the customer to provide her utility invoices. As such, a letter was sent to the customer on November 19, requesting *** *** contact Ethical Electric regarding her account and included our contact information Should *** *** contact Ethical Electric, we are prepared to present her with a proposed refund in an attempt to bring this matter to a mutually satisfactory conclusion

stated that he had previously requested that Ethical Electric remove his son's contact information from our contact lists as he is not authorized to make decisions on their electric supply account, however; [redacted] alleges that this request was not honored. Upon receipt of [redacted] complaint with the Revdex.com, a supervisor with Ethical Electric reviewed the history of our communications with the [redacted]. Ethical Electric obtains the names and addresses of potential customers from commercially available sources. We make reasonable efforts to identify individuals who do not have the potential to become our customer, and remove those individuals from our lists. Our review has confirmed that [redacted] did request to have his son's contact information removed from our contact lists, however; a processing error occurred with the complainant's request, which resulted in [redacted]' son receiving additional mail from Ethical Electric. We have removed their contact information from our contact lists, and request that [redacted] allow up to 30 days for this change to take effect. The complainant was also concerned that Ethical Electric would sell his son's contact information to other companies. Ethical Electric does not currently sell potential customer and/or current customer information to third parties nor do we plan on doing so in the future. We will send a letter to [redacted] confirming that his son's information has been removed from our contact lists. Additionally, as a sign of good faith, we will send the complainant a goodwill credit in the form of check for any inconvenience this has caused.

I am rejecting this response because:The response provided by the business is included below and has a statement that I do not agree with. The statement that it was Ethical Electrics understanding that I had intended to sign up for service is not accurate. When I spoke to the representative, he was clear that a follow up phone call would be held so we could discuss the potential for switching in more detail. I did not provide any information that Ethical had the understanding that I intended to sign up. With the exception of this incorrect part of the statement from Ethical Electric I am happy with and accept the resolution.Response from Ethical Electric:
