Madison Radiologist SC (located at  [redacted] and  [redacted] and  [redacted] ***) has referred me to a collections agency ( [redacted] ***, [redacted]   [redacted] ) claiming I owe them over $for a mammogram I had on June 27, at 10:a.mat the [redacted] in [redacted] ***, Wisconsin I contacted insurance and the hospital BEFORE I went to the mammogram appointment and was led to believe that I would have ZERO out-of-pocket costs for this mammogram.  I WOULD NOT HAVE KEPT this appointment had I been told it was not covered 

This company has been a nightmare to deal with I am not even 100% sure the charges are legitimate, yet I entered into a payment plan and made payments as agreed Nonetheless they continued to send threatening bills and then sent the account to collection! When I contacted them, after several brutal calls covering many hours -- they admitted they had made the error and said they would recall the debt They even sent me an email confirmation I then continued to make payments as agreed, but got another threatening bill and got sent to collection again They don't even list the correct amount of the debt, and certainly don't return calls or seem to care whose life they are ruining This bill is actually in my y.oson's name -- so good luck to him getting student loans for college with this on his record, even though it is the fault of Madison Radiologists, SC and Americollect How is this harassment and abuse even legal?

This busienss abuses it right to use credit collections: When they screw up insurance claims they then turn their unjust bills over to credit collections: St mary Hospital should reevalute the use of this busiess

This company has caused an incredible amount of undue stress to me over the course of the last nine monthsIn June of I received care at StClare Hospital in Baraboo, WIA claim for $was submitted incorrectly by Madison Radiologists to my health insurance company, MedicaI received a denial of the claim by United Health Group (a sister company of Medica to whom Madison Radiologists erroneously submitted the claim), as well as a bill from Madison RadiologistsI contact Madison Radiologists and provided them with the correct claims address and they said they would resubmit itA few weeks later, I received the same denial from United Health Group and bill from Madison RadiologistsI called again, and they claimed they had submitted it to the correct addressI later conference called Medica and Madison Radiologists, and this time the representative said it was not in fact sent to the correct address, and they would resubmit it a third timeSure enough, a few weeks later, I received the same noticesThis happened a total of three timesThis brought me to December of 2016, when I received a letter stating it would be sent to Collections if not paidBy this point I was furiousMadison Radiologists was failing to report the claim to the correct addressMedica made an exception due to the situation, and their provider line spoke with me directly and allowed me to conference call Madison RadiologistsMedica informed them, on a recorded line, that they had not received the claim, and that as a billing company they have a responsibility to report the claim as instructed or they are abusing their relationship as a preferred providerThey also confirmed, on the same recorded line, that my account would not be sent to collectionsMadison Radiologists stated they would submit the claim as instructedIn January I received a collections notice from AmericollectI contacted Madison Radiologists immediately upon receipt, and they said it was submitted in error and they would correct itOn 1/31/2017, Medica finally received the claim from them and it was paidThen on 3/09/2017, after my bill was already paid, Madison Radiologists again sent my bill to collections (Americollect)! I had to contact them today, on 3/27/2017, they confirmed it was in fact an active account, and I would need to contact Madison Radiologists or submit proof of payment by my insurance companyOnce again, I had to contact Madison Radiologists and have them contact Americollect to correct their errorI have records of more than phone calls to this horrible company, and I will have absolutely nothing to show for itAt this point, with the amount of time I have spent trying to correct their errors, they should be indebted to meI cannot believe the level of incompetence which has been displayedThis went on for over nine months and is clearly not just representative of one employee but the company as a wholeThey should not be allowed to do business with any medical provider

Since I now have insurance where I pay for diagnostics as part of my deductible, I have been very diligent about how things are billed and filed as claims In two instances, Madison Radiologists have filed my claims (one from May and one from October 2016) with the insurance company incorrectlyThe May claim was mammogram reading which is now covered 100% through ACA I don't understand why that claim has taken so long to resolve - it seems like a pretty straight forward claim! It has taken numerous phone calls and yet still my claims have not come through correctly, causing a delay in insurance turnaround, and an accurate payment balanceI do not know what I truly owe themI have been told that the situation has been rectified each time I called, and still nothing has been done to date (November 26) Now I have received notice that my account is "delinquent", which I immediately called about on November 21st, with the promise of a return call that day to resolve the issue I have yet to hear from them In both claim cases, I had no choice in the provider for reading results (MR is out of network for my plan), so I am left feeling powerless in this situation At this point in time, I would not recommend Madison Radiologists strictly for their poor billing process and follow up It certainly leaves you feeling as if you are being "scammed"

I have received a bill from Madison Radiologists three timesI payed the bill of $the first I got the billI payed the bill online at they websiteThe authorization code is I payed the bill on Jan2, at 3:PM Then when I got the bill of the second time I payed over the phoneThe third time I sent back a cope of the receipt from the first .I went Madison Radiologists to stop billing me for the same bill when I payed the bill thank you

I had a $bill from Madison Radiologists SCStatement date was 7/30/They claim they sent me a second bill in SeptemberI was dealing with other hospital bills and this one slipped my mind I’ll admit itBut usually they send a reminder or call youOn 10/30/they sent me to collections for a bill less than $25!!!! Three months is what it has been not months with multiple attempts at trying to contact me in any wayI tried to call and talk to a supervisor but they don’t go to work until even though the office opens at 9! This company is lazy, rude, and doesn’t care about the average working person
