I am emailing you in regards to the complaint that was submitted on 2/26/reference # *** with the following narrative.*** *** purchased a vehicle from us and put $down paymentWhen she left our dealer she loved the vehicle and couldn't say enough good things about how helpful
we were to her. All the paper work that is required by state law was signed and most importantly the Buyers Guide was signed which stated that the vehicle did not have any warranty and she acknowledged the fact. Three days after she purchased the vehicle she brought it back complaining that the transmission was bad. We told her that we would do what we could to help if in fact the transmission was bad. My partner test drove it for about miles give or take and did not notice any malfunction with the transmission. During his test drive he stopped by a mechanic shop and asked them to take a look at it as well and the also came to the same conclusion that nothing was wrong with the transmission. When my partner came back to the dealer we explained to the customer that there was nothing wrong with the transmission and that she just had to keep the vehicleShe continued to complain and throw tantrums that she wanted her money back and return the vehicle. We did not want to do the return as nothing was wrong with the vehicle. A few moments later after discussing the circumstances of the situation the customers mom arrives and begins to complain along side her daughterThe mother came up with the idea that we do refund but keep $of the initial down paymentWe asked *** if she was okay with her if we accepted the return of the vehicle but she would only receive $of her initial down payment. She agreed and so that it what we did. We accepted the return and she received a partial return of $of her initial $down payment. I suspect that this buyer had buyers remorse as there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.Attached you will find the receipt of the partial down payment.Thank you,

THIS IS MIKE AT AUTO SALES IN REGUARDS TO ID # *** *** ***WE DO HAVE HER JEEP DEALERSHIP AT THIS TIME AND ARE MAKING ALL REPAIRST

Review: I purchased a vehicle from 103 auto sales in Bloomfield ,NJ in December. It had a 3 month warranty for repairs which I thought was great for buying a used vehicle. Almost one month after purchasing my Jeep it gave out on me in the middle of the parkway. I contacted the dealer the next morning after spending hours trying to get me and my car to safety. They apologized for the trouble and I was told they would get it taken care of. They picked my car up from my home the next day. A day or two later I was told from the dealer it was in fact my engine and battery was no good but my warranty would cover it. Fine this was January I didn't get my car back until February. They had it for a month to do the engine repairs. When I did get my truck back a day or two later I noticed my check engine light came on and my car was smoking and had a bad oil burning smell. I called to let the dealer know I was having issues with the car since the engine replacement. I was told to bring it in and leave it so it can be checked. So I did. When I got my car back a day later I was told it was hoses that came apart and had to be fixed. Fine I took the car again thinking it was fixed no engine light on or anything. As soon as I pulled away from the dealer my engine light came back on. I immediately called "Mike" the guy at the dealer he said it might be a sensor don't worry it should go off. Stupid for believing them a few days later my car stalled on the highway. I called to tell Mike I felt unsafe with my vehicle the repairs aren't being done correctly and its putting me in dangerous situations. I asked if there was anyway possible I could trade my vehicle back in for something else. He said I didn't have enough equity. Back to the shop again and this last time they said the were parts of my engine that was no good. The warranty company that supplied my replacement engine now wont take responsibility for the defects because I no longer have warranty. I had warranty when the work was done but never corrected.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to take responsibility for this issue and correct it. All I want is to drive my car and feel safe & secure. Its been apparent that the vehicle had issues since purchased. But now nobody wants to help. Not the dealer, the warranty company , or the mechanic at this point. In the meanwhile I have to pay a monthly payment on a vehicle that's not really worth it. Please help !!!!!

THIS IS MIKE AT 103 AUTO SALES IN REGUARDS TO ID # [redacted]

Review: I purchased a 2000 Honda Civic 2 DR Coupe from 103 Auto Sales on 8/13/13 for a total of 5378 which included NJ sales tax title fees and all of motor vehicle fees. I took the car to Honda on Route 22 for a service check that very same day. Once Honda had completed there test they gave me a list of things that needed to be fixed Valve Cover Gasket , railing Arm Bushings, Alignment, and Timing Belt. All things I was told from current car owners are things that need to be done around this time because the car has over 94000 miles on it. To my dismay the engine light comes on as I am leaving Honda I take it back to Honda and the mechanic says an after market catalyst converter has been put on subsequently he turns the engine light off. The very next day 8/14/13(wed) I drive the car to work and the engine light turns back on, I take it to Auto Zone to get a diagnostic done stating P0740. I take it back to 103 Auto Sales that very night to show them the engine light is on and what Honda had stated needed to be fixed since I am under the 90 day warranty they said do not worry about it we will take care of it we will have our mechanic take a look at it. So fast forward Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday(not a business day) Monday,Tuesday comes and I the consumer finally decide to call 12:00 pm to find out what is going on with the car I left there last week. I get someone named "[redacted] " who has no idea really whats going on he just knows it being worked on but he states he will give me a call later on in the day when he finds out. It is now 5 pm I call again to find out what the status of my Honda is and still he has not to many answers to my question, he just knows they are working on and some parts had to come out of state so that is the hold up. I finally say How would I go about getting my money back , [redacted]s response is "hold off until Wednesday I will find out what is going on with the car" Wednesday comes I get the same response. I called owner no answer.I went todayDesired Settlement: I would like my money back since this place has had my car for an entire week and I have yet to get a clear response as to how long this process was going to take to fix the problem
