1050 Garage Corp.

Review: On the evening of Thursday, September **, I parked my fiancee's and my shared car, a 2007 Honda Accord, at the 1050 Garage (which is located next door to my apartment). The attendant came to the vehicle, we spoke at it, no damage was noted, and then I left. The next morning (Friday, September **), my fiancee went to retrieve the vehicle at approximately 7:00am. She noted that it was parked at the back of the garage and thus had likely been moved by the attendant several times. When the attendant pulled the car around, she noted damage to the rear bumper of the car on the driver's side. She called me down, we spoke to the attendant, and took pictures of the damage. The attendant told me I would have to call back at 10am and speak with the garage supervisor, [redacted]. I called at 10am to speak with [redacted]. He was extremely unhelpful and told me he spoke with the attendant last night and that the attendant said the car had already been damaged, even though when we looked at the car when I dropped it off it wasn't damaged (and I am certain the vehicle was not damaged when the vehicle was dropped off). [redacted] told me there was nothing the garage would do. I asked for [redacted]'s supervisor. He refused to give me the name of the supervisor. After several questions, he finally agreed to tell me the name of the company that owned the garage. I looked up the company online and found a phone number. I called the number and spoke with "[redacted]". She instructed me on how to file a complaint: I was to email a summary of the events to "[redacted]" and I would hear something back "the next week". I emailed a summary to [redacted] that day (September **) and included pictures of the damage. I never heard back. I emailed again on October * and October ** and received no response. I attempted to call the number for 1050 Garage and no one answered the phone. I have not heard from the garage management since September **.Desired Settlement: I would like for the garage to pay for the damage to the vehicle and to refund me for the parking charges incurred at the garage.

According to the attendant who was available on September ** evening said the customer came in and left the left the car on the rump. The next morning, lady came with the ticket to retrieve the vehicle. The attendant who was available that morning of September **, pulled out the vehicle out of the garage because the lady said she couldn't pulled it out by herself.

According to the attendant who was available on September ** morning, said immidiately he pulled out the car for this lady she went to the rear bumper of the vehicle and started complaining there were scratches on the rear bumper. When the lady and the attendant cross checked the vehicle they noticed there were yellow paint scratches on the rear bumper.

In our garage we don't have any wall painted with yellow color. All our walls are painted with blue and white colors.

The man who brought the car on Sept ** came later and I asked him if he checked the vehicle with the attendant before leaving his answer was "no". I asked the attendant the same question and he said as soon as he gave the ticket to the customer, the customer immediately left without checking the car.

What baffles me is that, a different person brought the car on sept ** evening and a different person came in the morning to retrieve the vehicle.

Immediately the vehicle was pulled out for this second person, she went straight to the rear side up the car and started complaining of the scratches.

This means the first person and the second person knew about this damage before they brought it into the garage . First person brought the car in the evening so these damages wouldn't be clearly seen by the attendant.
