Hi Ms***, I am responding to the complaint #*** I received on July 20, by mail, in regards to the AC issue reported in bldg.*** ***. At this time, the AC unit is working as it should in this apartment. Our certified technicians have verified the
proper operation and so has our third party contractor, ** *** *** ***. Both have certified that this AC unit is working properly and is cooling. I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be somewhat satisfactory to meI am pleased that the AC is working, which happened on July when they finally sent a HVAC tech over after months of calling and writing lettersHowever, I am not totally satisfied because I have not heard anything from management about compensating me the inconvenience this ordeal has caused me and my familyI feel that $off my next rent payment isn't asking too much when everyday I was coming home for months to an apartment that was degrees when the unit was running constantly.

Review: I notified 11 N. Apartments that my air conditioning wasn't working properly in April. I have called several times throughout each week to come home and be disappointed that it still was 80 degrees plus in my apartment. When I cook it makes it even more uncomfortable or causing me to have to go out and find something to eat. Not to mention, I have noticed my electric bill triple since April because the air conditioning is constantly running. They have sent several technicians to tell me several different things such as "needing a new blower (that never got replaced), they said I needed freon, then said there was too much freon, and now I need heavier curtains to block the sun". It is now July and my air conditioning is still not working. I have written several complaint letters which I haven't heard anything back.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be to have a working air conditioning, whether replaced or repaired properly. Also, I would like to have $100 taken off my next rent payment for the extra cost of electric over the last three months.

Review: My complaint is a contract complaint. I am complaining about my lease with 11 north Apartment Complex. I moved in on 10/03/14. I was told to pay a deposit of $670.00 and the first month's rent is free. That was the promotion offered at that time. I was also told the rent would be $614.00 a month for twelve months. I asked how much would I pay for November's rent. I was told by the agent it would be $445.00 because they had a spin a wheel to get something off your rent and I won $75.00 off my rent. I also paid $50.00 processing fee to be taken off my first month's rent. The problem came later two weeks later. The agent [redacted] called to inform me she had made a mistake and I needed to pay October's rent instead of it being free as advertised. She said she had given me the free month free plus a lower rent for twelve months.I asked that a manager call me because I did not understand why she did not tell me sooner and I just wanted to get to bottom of the situation. I signed a contract with the assumption that my October's rent was free and my monthly rent would be 614.00 a month except for November's rent it would be $445.00 because of the discounts. I have spoken to the manager of the complex and the [redacted] and they are quoting me an amount of $686.00 without an itemized copy of my bill. I feel this company needs to honor their advertising and better train their agents.I would like this complaint investigated.Desired Settlement: I would like 11 North to honor the agreement of free October's rent and 614.00 a month for twelve months and an apology for the inconvenience.And my November rent to be $445.00 plus water and trash.
