to
one of our charity partners. He is correct. Every one of our trucks are open
bed and even though we have tarps to minimize weather related damages, bad
whether poses some degree of risk.
However, despite his keen observation, EVERY SINGLE LAST
ITEM that he wanted donated (per the Donation Wish List he completed) ended up
going to two of our charity partners in separate deliveries. We mailed AND
emailed him itemized donation receipts to prove it. All Documentation
is included with this response. We also offered to provide contact information
for the store managers of the two charity partners in case he wanted to

At the end of the day, we are a junk removal service. We are in
the waste disposal business. We have never and will never GUARANTEE donation of
anybody's items. It is our intent to donate or otherwise salvage as much as we
can and prevent it from ending up at the dump, but we make it very clear that
we are at the mercy of our charity partners as well as the condition of the
items we are hauling away. We've included an excerpt from the confirmation email that was sent to [redacted] prior to his appointment that specifically explains our donation process. This email doesn't make any commitments or guarantees that his items will be donated. The full email has been forwarded to [redacted] for review.
Please note that I've attached a Donation Wish
List. At 123JUNK, we make our best effort to donate and otherwise salvage as
much as possible, by keeping your items out of the landfill. In instances where
weareable to take
items to charity, we offer the client a receipt from the charity of which we
were able to donate the items. If this is something that interests you, please
fill out the attached Donation Sheet Request Form and hand it to one of our
team members at the time of appointment. If you are unable to print this, our
team will have copies to offer you on-site.
As with all of our customers, we are very much
interested in making sure [redacted] is satisfied with our attempts to leave
him with at least “some degree” of satisfaction. However, everything we’ve done for him so far has come up short in accomplishing this. For the first
time in our 8 years of business we’ve come to believe, there are some people
who simply cannot be satisfied. Please let us know where to go from here.
