The customer was also verbally reminded of the "no return" stipulation; she agreed to this understanding and signed with credit card payment (totaling $104. 76 with Minnesota State tax).Several days later, on July 15, 2016, the customer attempted to return the item, stating she has researched and found a similar product, at another retail store, "at a lower price". The product she desired to return appeared to be somewhat damaged (the supporting lamp stand was bent and unstable); perhaps this accidental damage occurred in her transport of the item from the store to her residence and back.The customer was very hostile and verbally aggressive with 141 Vintage Market staff; she was accompanied by another woman who also was acting disorderly. Due to the noted damage of the item, the prominent in-store display of "All sales are final", as well as the customer's demeanor, she was regrettably requested to leave the store without a refund. She shouted "You should be ashamed of yourself!" as she exited the store, while other customers looked on.141 Vintage Staff was very apologetic for the unfortunate misunderstanding and again clarified the reasons for the denied return.Unfortunately, Square services (the device to accept credit card payment) does not differentiate the modification of online and in-store return policies on electronic receipts.
