Regarding the message from business, the business misrepresented some facts within their response. I will accept the following:The issues with 14 Street Medical has not been resolved. 14 Street Medical did discuss the concerns, raised by [redacted], with [redacted]. [redacted] will agree to drop the complaint, on the condition that both parties ([redacted] and 14 Street Medical) agree to the following:A. Billing issues and any discrepancies involving appointment times, tests, and treatments were discussed, though 14th Street Medical's attempt to assign [redacted] a pre-screening appointment on February 6 was not understood by [redacted]. A 14 Street Medical Assistant also pressured [redacted] into taking a test (SUDO) prior to any explanation being given as to what the test was why it was needed and, in another instant, the company failed to seek her approval, prior to assigning her to take another another test, which she resisted taking, and which her insurance company would have been falsely billed for had she not realized she had been billed. In addition, 14 Street Medical has yet to resolve the discrepancy on [redacted]'s online portal, which gives a false accounting of her appointments at 14 Street Medical -- with two appointments logged for February 7, 2017.B. Inner office ethics were explained to [redacted]; however, 14th St. Medical did not follow up with [redacted] regarding any behavior reprimands for Dr. R[redacted], or provide her with any indication how such behavior will change in the future for the best interest of the patient. In addition, 14 Street Medical explained to [redacted] that administrative staff are allowed to prescribe testing to patients, without consulting the patient's physician beforehand; and while [redacted] accepts the company's explanation, [redacted] does not, in fact, understand why such a practice is allowed. C. 14 Street Medical explained the position of the company, in regards to office operations and procedures, and fully understands, accepts and recognizes that the position the company explained to [redacted] was antithetical to the experience [redacted] had with the company.
