There is an ice maker part that came in yesterday We talked her today and the secretary set up an appointment for either tomorrow or Friday for my repair technician to go take care of it for her She confirmed the appointment

On Sept16, I went to the Appliance Store at [redacted] in Belleville, IL A man was outside the store holding a sign that read “buy one get one free” Turns out he was the manager, his name [redacted] I told him I needed a washing machine The dryer I had was still working He showed me a Whirlpool washer that looked in good condition He said he’d just overhauled it He had been using it to wash shop towels He also had the matching dryer saying it worked great They both were Whirlpool appliances The price was $for the washer and the dryer was free On the 19th they were delivered for a $cash payment to [redacted] He works for [redacted] That evening, I started a load of wash, it filled okay but wouldn’t agitate It went straight to spin The next morning I called [redacted] He said if I wanted worked on I had to pick him up at the store and take him home when he was done He couldn’t drive himself because his wife was taking the car to chorus practice I called a friend to tell her what I was doing and with him to be safe He put a new switch on the washer and I took him home There was a car in the driveway The next day I found out the dryer would run but put out no heat [redacted] said he would come on Wednesday and work on both appliances He didn’t show! Thursday the 22nd I found one hose leaking down the wall and the floor I went to the store and asked for my money back, $ Said he’d spent it so he sat at his desk and it looked like he was crying He begged me not to file a suit on him He said he’d change them out for a better set, Maytags Saturday the 9th I called [redacted] to see when they were coming, maybe Monday Monday he called and said he was working on the washer They will be here on Tuesday On Tuesday [redacted] brought the set out at 7:pm I didn’t pay the $charge for delivery [redacted] said he would Wednesday when I tried the washer it sounded like a freight train I couldn’t run it So I called the store in Swansea, the main store at [redacted] ***, ½ mile from [redacted] ’s store They are all family I don’t know the name of the man I spoke to He didn’t seem very nice He said “all sales are final.” He then said he would send a repairman on Friday the 30th I waited all day no one came by So at 3:pm, I called the store and asked when someone would be coming out He said oh your home he’ll be here in fifteen minutes I’m still waiting On Oct 6th I borrowed money and went to Klein’s Brand Source and bought a washer for $ If you add the two together I have paid $for one working washer I had to pay $to get the broken washer removed The second dryer is hanging in for now These men need to be stopped! I am not their only one they have done this to I still want my $refunded

This is not trueEach time I called he said he would call me back and never didHe scheduled several appts with me but never showed upHe told me he had the part and it would take about minutes to put it inEach time he gave me one excuse after anotherHis tech was at home taking a shower, his house was robbed, his tech sold his deposit, etcI reached out to their other store today and asked who I could talk to in order to resolve this issueThe girl apologized and said they would send out the tech from their store on Friday*** did nothing to assist meI would have appreciated some honesty and integrityHopefully, the other store will send their tech Friday and this issue will finally be resolved

She was having issues and I said we would be able to fix it under the 1 year warranty.  I showed her a different machine and my delivery guy went out there late at night and installed it.  This is the last I heard of it.  We swapped this out with a different set and this is resolved.
