Upon receipt of instructions from Ms***, the Company processed the policy as a Not-Taken on June 30, 2015, when she elected to exercise the Right to Review provision in her policy contract. We sincerely regret any confusion we may have caused Ms*** during the issue processWhile initial sales illustrations are provided to the customer, it is not until the full Underwriting review has been completed that the final offer is presented to the customer. We want to assure Ms*** that we appreciate her feedback and have shared her complaint with the proper management unit for review. Finally, we want to confirm that a check in the amount of $450, representing the initial premium paid on the policy is being refunded to Ms*** today. Review: The amount that Matheww B[redacted] quoted was completely different than what was stated on actual contract. He delayed mailing the actual contract to my home so it was too late to refund my premium.I contacted him on 6/11 as soon as I got the contract to cancel contract. It still has not been cancelled although I have sent several emails. He has tried to debit another premium from my checking account today when he stated that the contract has been cancelled 3 weeks ago.I have put a stop payment on any removal of funds from my account.I am sending a formal letter and complaint to John Hancock which is the company in which he represents.Desired Settlement: I want other consumers to be aware of Matheww B[redacted] and 1752 Financial's questionable business practices. Actions and contracts are completely different than what is quoted. There is a delay when the contract is received but by the time you realize it money is already taken from your account. No response when I emailed several times in request for contract after I noted money had been taken from my account.
