Review: I purchased a car by 1-800 Preowned and the car was represented as by 1-800 Preowned as a car in good condition. No where on the car was an "AS IS" sign and the car dealer represented the car as being a car in good condition. I purchased the car on 7/**/14 and within a week of driving the car I discovered that the car was kicking back every time. I accelerated the car would kick back, so I returned the car back to the dealership to let them know about what I experienced around 7/**/14. The sale person that assisted us with the car drove us the mechanic down the street that explained to us that it may a transmission issue. I decided to leave the car with the dealership who promised me that they would take it to get fix using one of their mechanics. They did not give us an option as to who we took the car they took it to their mechanic. They told us it would be ready in two weeks. When we returned to the dealership around 8/**/14 the dealer reported that the car had a bad transmission and the warranty company would not pay for a new transmission that they would have the transmission rebuilt. The dealers had the car until around 9/*/14 which they dropped the car off to my home. I noticed that the car was unresponsive when I pressed on the gas, everyday there were different sensors going off in the car, the car has cut off on me, the kick back was even more extreme than before. I called the dealership and told them about the car not being fixed. I have relocated temporarily to NJ at a families' home to be closer to school and work, so I decided to take the car around 9/*/14 to a mechanic at [redacted] located in [redacted] and the mechanic hooked my car up to the sensor and test drove it stating that he did not see anything wrong with the car. The mechanic encouraged me to let him know if any of the things I described above was to happen. All the things above continued to happen, so I decided to take the car to [redacted] on 9/**/14 because I was getting tired of being told nothing was wrong with my car. The mechanic at [redacted] reported to me after he looked at the car stating that the transmission was gone, the car was leaking transmission fluid and it appears to be no transmission work done on the car. [redacted] reported that the warranty claims that I had to take the car back to the mechanic that initially took the car and get it fixed. I don't trust that mechanic because they deceived me once before.Desired Settlement: I would like for the car to be fixed via Volkwagen or I would like to return the car and have the contract that I signed voided and all my money returned to me.

Review: In March of this year, I purchased a used 2006 Mitsubishi raider pick up truck with approximately 89,000 miles on it. The vehicle needed some repairs before I was willing to accept it. Items were, transmission issues to include the transmission cooling lines, hood lock, check engine light, spare tire winch, new tires, steering components, brake line corrosion and worn shocks and struts. All of these issues were verified by his own mechanic just down the road from the dealership. The brake lines were repaired and replaced, new tires were installed, I was told that the transmission issues and transmission cooling lines were repaired and I was compensated for the hood latch and spare tire winch.Issue 1:I was told the transmission cooling lines and a solenoid in the tranny were repaired, I picked up the vehicle from his mechanic in Brooklyn, NY. As I was driving back to my residence in Valley Stream, NY, the vehicle overheated, began smoking and shut down. It was transmission line and transmission issues again. I had to coordinate all the transportation on my own, the dealership (1800Preowned) was no help or assistance. It was taken back and "repaired" with rubber hoses that do not meet a factory repair specs and is a hazard. I did not find this out until recently.Issue 2: I purchased vehicle to take on a move back to Colorado. Since driving it here and only a few thousand miles later, I've had to have the rear differential rebuilt, the steering linkages replaced, it needs new shocks and struts (rear struts were spray painted silver to hide), needs new ball joints, control arm assemblies and anti-lock brake sensor since the ABS and brake warning lights keep coming on... along with a check engine light that is intermittent. Issue 3:I purchased an extended warranty at / through the dealership. It wont cover most of the items (only partial of the rear differential)and the dealership will not take responsibility for anything.Issue 4:The [redacted], [redacted] will not return my callsDesired Settlement: I have taken the truck to an authorized repair facility where I know live called [redacted]. They can verify all of the needed repairs. The [redacted] there is: [redacted] /[redacted]. I would like them to complete all the needed repairs and for 1800preowned to cover the bill. Or, refund me the money of the truck/loan and all costs I've paid so far including sales tax and registration here in Colorado and they be responsible for the return.
