Review: Condition of the gym has gotten considerably worse with new management. Neither the heating or cooling system work in the gym. The new owner is using plastic and duct tape as a partition wall separating the cardio equipment from the free weights in an effort to capture cold air. A hole has been knocked into the rear wall with a section of door screen duct taped over it. This has been described as "Adequate ventilation" by the new owner. A rate increase was automatically deducted from the members account with no prior notice of change sent to the members. During the winter months snow was never removed from the access door and parking lot was never plowed. 75% of cardio equipment is inoperable or unsafe to use. Equipment does not receive daily cleaning and no efforts are made to put away weights or unload weights from equipment. New owner gets hostile with the members when they express dissatisfaction with the gym conditions (specifically the plastic and duct tape partition wall). Business has no email address to send complaints or concerns to. There are no posted gym staff hours.Desired Settlement: The above conditions need to be addressed and a time frame needs to be given to the members on when the completed changes can be expected. The plastic and duct tape partition wall needs to be removed immediately. It does not allow for a comfortable environment for the members to work out in. New owner needs to explain why the rate increase was put into effect, apologize for not having given prior notice of the change, and detail what the rate increase is going to be put towards.
