I became a new patient of DrAlexander [redacted] on November 16, I scheduled an appointment for a wellness physical because he and his practice were listed within the [redacted] healthcare network The purpose of my appointment was to obtain a routine wellness physical During the course of the exam, Dr [redacted] ordered an EKG, breathing capacity test, and chest x-ray Rather than coding these tests as being for “wellness” purposes, they were coded as being related to an “underlying condition” I was asymptomatic on the day of examination And I take no medication and had no complaints Thus, there was no reason for these charges to be coded as they were A subsequent EOB indicated that my HRA had been exhausted and a balance due of $was forwarded to me The total amount was close to $5, I also discovered on February 26, 2017, that a charge of $was made by [redacted] on my credit card without my consent I was forced to provide my credi

I was suggested to have a sleep study conductedWhen I called to schedule the sleep study it took about calls and days to get in contact with someone, when I finally got someone to answer she was rudeI asked if I would be doing the study at the location and I was told that I would be contacted after my insurance was contactedMy appointment was for the 2nd of AugI called every couple of days for the days to try to get some information on what I would need for the study and the location no answer and no call backThe 1st of Aug I go to the location to ask what is going on, what is it I needThe front desk send me around back to where the sleep studies are conduct to find out that they do not take *** at this locationSo I go back in the main office and get some good information from the scheduler (she is awesome) Gave me the paperwork that was needed and told me where I was the study would beNext day I had the study conducted the tech was awesome as well explained that it would take about weeks to get my resultsweeks go by and I start calling to see if I could get my resultsNo answer no return call for over a weekI then go to my GP to get some information and the awesome scheduler gives me another number to contactI call all the numbers and no response for about a weekI get a call on a Sat morning from I am guessing the head of the sleep study Dept and I think I am going to get some informationNopeI am told that he has to get my file from someone and he will get back to meI wait a week or so and try againWhen I get in contact with him I am told that he is still waiting on my file and he will get back to meSo another week later I call my GP and the awesome scheduler tries to obtain information and tells me that if I don't hear back from her by noon the next day I need to call her backShe calls at 11am and tells me that she has been told by the gentleman that is suppose to be getting back to me that my insurance denied the claimI thought that was strange since there are multiple people I work with are the ones that told me about the studySo I call my insurance right after I hung upIts now or weeks after the sleep studyThey explain that there was no claim for the sleep studyThey had claims for the other procedures that I had done that same weekI don't know why someone would just out right give informationBut I do not like my time wasted so I would never recommend anyone to do a sleep study with Family Practice
