New strut broke while driving on highway
I bought new struts from 1a auto inc in November, 2021 (5 months ago) for my wife's Honda Pilot. She only drives on regular roads and highways, and does not do any offroading or anything besides normal driving. She was driving on the highway on April 5th, 2022 when one of the struts broke in half. Luckily no one was hurt in the process. She had to get her vehicle towed to a local mechanic. They said they have never seen a new strut break like this in all there years as mechanics. The cost to replace the broken strut is around $500, not including a $150 tow bill, and rental car costs for my wife to get home and have a vehicle to drive. I asked 1a auto to do the right thing and only pay for the cost of replacing there broken strut, which they refused. Upon further investigation, I realized 1aauto.com has over 60 BBB complaints for defective auto parts that fall under normal driving conditions. 1aauto knowingly sells defective parts that fall, and could lead to potential injuries/fatalities.

Poor Quality
I purchased both the TRQ wiper arm transmissions and the TRQ wiper arms. My concern was that if I used two different brands they may not connect together properly. The transmissions fit in just fine, no issues, but when I went to attach the arms to the transmissions they didn’t fit. Neither driver nor passenger arms would attach. There is a little clip on the bottom of the arms that slides back and forth and on both arms, the clip didn’t slide far enough over to allow you to slide these arms onto the transmissions. I took a grinder and a 4 pound sledge hammer to the transmission to modify them enough to get these arms on. I really hope that I don’t have to remove them anytime soon. They had to be pounded on. The arms don’t rest in the right area. The passenger arm is up midway on the windshield. Technically they function, but appearance is 3 out of 5 due to misalignment and fit is 1 out of 5 because they wouldn’t go together even though they are the same exact brand. If you are not mechanically inclined to make things work, spend more for something that actually fits as it should. These are going to require you to do modifications to make them fit. I also had to take a grinder to my cowl because the driver side arm was hitting it rather hard. Overall rating, 2 out of 5. I seen one of their how to videos and it was what directed me to their site. It was the first time ordering from A1 Auto.

Not satisfied
I found my parts on here and they where good in price. I ordered back drums and full front rotors and pads for my truck. They have been on my truck for 1 month now and the front rotors are rusting and the back drums are completely rusted all ready and the front pads where suppose to be dust free and the dust is the worst I have ever had.

1a was very helpful in helping me with my repairsI am inexperienced and ordered the wrong part, and when I called they not only gave me a refund, but helped me find out what part I need and sent me that oneThe customer service was phenomenal

I have used 1A Auto for all repair needs relating to my wife's Ford Taurus SES and my Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoAll parts were as described and received in a short timeI have never had an issue with parts orders and have called to discuss parts for my Jeep on occasion

This company is great, ordered front wheel bearings for my NIssan Titan,received them right away but got damaged in shipment,no fault of the company,I called the company and they shipped out another right away.Very friendly and courteous customer service,also ordered all the rotors and brake pads which were delivered right away with no hassles or confusion,They had a video on line of step by step how to do the repairs.I was impressed Called everyone except Obama to tell them about this company and my experience

I came across 1A Auto searching Youtube for videos on how to change the f/r struts & front control arms on my carAfter finding great videos done by AAuto I purchased the control arms from them strictly because I knew I had gotten a LOT of benefit from the videos (not to mention a price in the ballpark of other parts shops)This past Saturday I changed all the components & the car (148K miles) rides GREAT! I had checked with my mechanic & they would have charged me $575, so a HUGE savings in doing it myselfThanks 1A Auto!

I ordered a part that I needed in days and was told by a rep that I was all setI was shipping it to one address but billing to anotherIn an effort to "help" me, the order was flagged for fraud and put on hold due to the address conflict and it didn't shipBy the time I realized it, I needed the part in daysI was told that the delay would cause me to miss my window for receipt of the partAdam from 1A Auto pulled out all the stops, had hands physically put on the part in a local warehouse and got the part to me the next day - within my window for repairing my carThis was customer service at its bestThank you Adam and thank you 1A AutoGreat job, much appreciated!
