1A Budget Painting

This painting business did not do a good job on our house. The following is a letter that I wrote listing the deficiencies that remained even after we had them come back to correct the main problem:June 19th, 2013 To: [redacted]Fr: [redacted] This letter is to inform you that due to the deficiencies in your recent painting of our house we will not be paying the remainder of the balance. After notifying you of the problems the first time, they were not sufficiently corrected. At this point our dealings with your company has ended and we will have to hire another company to complete the job. This is a list of some of the problems: - start & stop lines remain on siding.- paint runs appear on siding.- light & dark shades of color remain.- wood surfaces were not properly scraped before painting.- caulking was not smoothed over before painting.- shutters were thrown away without our permission.- plants were painted over and some died as a result.- some plants were smashed.- kinlz was smeared over the lawn in 6 different places and grass is dying as a result.- one section of spouting (about 4 feet) was not painted. - dent in the siding in the front of the house that was not there before.- paint on the patio door and screen.- paint on the basement windows and paint splatter on the front storm door.
