Client *** ***, ? Enrolled in our service agreement ? on Sept 18th and was approved Oct 14th for an Income Based Repayment plan Prior to contacting us the client requested Deferment on her loans so we arranged the new plan would not start until after the client requested
deferment ended. We will work in the best interest of our clients, who in many cases are stuck with their lender not offering legitimate help prior to us acting on their behalf. After approval the Client then contacted her Credit Card Company and reversed her only payment to us of $, so in effect we have received $dollars from the client and completed the work contracted.? As of today, We have not sent her to collections for the full amount agreed

We will fix this and make it right, please call in and let's get it done

Completely nonfactual , We have a very clear plain English contract and a Third Party Verification recording on each and every client enrolled, which covers exactly who we are and clearly what we can do for a client with a 100% Money Back Guarantee.....Client was in a $Payment we got her a $
PaymentWe have all the documentation of the application process along the way as well as all the phone conversations and a Third Party Verification Recording prior to enrollment of our services

Ms***,As we discussed over the phone, we apologize for the miscommunication at the time of your enrollmentWhen you enrolled with us on 8/31/16, your loans were in "Loan Originated" and "Deferred" status, due to the fact you had recently completed school on 8/19/We were unable to touch your
loans until the status' changed to In RepaymentWhen the status' finally changed, we encountered some problems when working on your application for your consolidation and repayment programWe did reach out to you via email and left messages requesting certain pertinent information we needed to continue working on your applicationYour file was then put on hold while we waited for the information. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and any other problems you may have encounteredWe are happy to issue a Full Refund of all monies paid to usI will be issuing that refund to you today 3/7/17.Thank you

I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
This company keeps saying email"s" and callsThere were no calls and ONE emailThat is terrible management of a loanIf I would have received this thing called a follemail or ONE phone call maybe I could have done somethingI am assuming I thought the ONE email was an unknown bill collectorIf I received a SECOND email I would have realized that action was neededONE email??? You are putting your company's reputation on ONE email? To reiterate I was never called, I received one email, and I was billed regularly for to months after they stopped paying the loans.I went into default because I was not informed of what I needed to do nextThe ONE email obviously didn't show me action was needed or my credit was going to take a massive hit because this terrible loan management company wasn't going to attempt to contact me again. As I stated in my initial complaint it is fraudulent to allow a company to charge for managing a loan and allowing the client's loan to default instead of doing everything possible to contact the clientOne email is a ridiculous ground to stand onI cannot believe that you are not willing to admit how wrong your company isThe damage to my credit is going to take years to fixThanks to? 1file.org's management team I was declined for a small business credit card due to my student loans (the loans they were managing) going into default.I cannot stress how disgusted I am with you.? ?
Regards,
*** ***

This complaint was directed to the wrong company*** *** is not a client of oursI completed a thorough search in our system, and we have zero information in our database of this personHe should double check the name of the company who processed his payment, because it was not us.?

In all fairness to the client I want to respond to each and every one of her concerns as outlined in her complaint in the same order:"However, in the contract it says that if you want to opt out you can call, write, or send an emailYes towards the top of the contract it says there's a "cooling off" period, but further down the contract it says to opt outIn that portion of the contract it doesn't specify or indicate a length of time required, it just says to call, write, or send an emailI've sent two emails all ready stating that I do not wish to use your services anymore."? RESPONSE:? We have canceled the client at the time she called and canceled, she has been refunded all that she paid.? - "Another reason I am upset is that *** shared my personal information with my sister*** ** *** *** can only share limited information, and the only person whom they can share that with is my momYou guys on the other hand disclosed all my loan information to my sister, that could've been someone I don't even know." RESPONSE: We do not share any information as well as the Information we retrieve from the Department of Education and all of the Federal Student Loan? Service's? have security safeguards in place to assure this does not happen by security questions and passwords that only the ' PERSON" in question would be able to? answer

The clients payment was VOIDED on the day the client changed dates.AccountingSep 14, 2015, 4:pm*** ***Merchant: *** *** *** * *** *** ***Date/Time: 09/14/4:33:PM PDTTransaction ID: 2***Transaction Type: Card VoidEntry Method: KeyedAmount: 199.67Refund
Process:One of the key reasons that a credit card refund takes as long as it does is the number of steps involved in the refund processWhen you initiate a refund, as when you return merchandise to a store, the seller requests a refund by beginning a new transaction request on the credit card networkThe card company must receive this information, check it against your purchase history, confirm the merchant's request, clear the refund with its bank and transfer the credit to your accountThe credit card's billing department must then issue a statement that shows the refund as a credit, which serves as the final step in the processEach step is an opportunity for delays due to human or computer error, or due to waiting for a billing cycle to elapse.Timeline:Credit card refunds can take anywhere from two to days before they are completeThe first to hours of this period involve the initial refund with the credit card companyBut credit card companies use major banks to supply the funds they lend to cardholders to make purchases, which means that the credit card's policies as well as the bank's policies can delay the refund

Dear Revdex.com,I am confused by the consumer's response and rejection to our response. All money was refunded prior to the complaint filed, and a confirmation of cancellation was sent... so I don't understand how this is not satisfactory to the consumer, and why he would reject our response. Am I missing something?

I cant believe that this company has even 1 bad review, they removed my loans out of DEFAULT and put me in a Government program I was eligible for with a manageable payment I can easily afford based on my income. My agent [redacted] explained everything in detail and was very patient, and cleary explained his fee. The real crooks are the Student Loan Servicer's who don't advise you of your best option. After all, if student loan servicers put everyone eligible for payment reduction in to the Federal reduction program, companies like 1file would not exist, but that will never happen. Call 1file if you are tired of being misled by Student Loan Servicers contracted by the Federal Government.
I did and I couldn't be more happy.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY!!! They are abusive in every way possible. I would receive upwards of 10 calls a day from this company. They even went as far as trying to hack into my FSA account!! They tried to reset my password multiple times WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. When I confronted them they said they just needed the reset code so they could access my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I am furious!

I told them I have already had my loans forgiven and they still persistently called.

They said that they are with the US Department of Education and they need to access my account to forgive my loans. So I called the FSA hotline and reported this company and they said that they never call students. All correspondence is either through email or US Mail.

I had to disable my FSA account because of the private information that is stored there. I don't know what this company has done with my information. They had access for 10-15 mins until I disabled my account.

I asked them if they had fees for their services and they said no, but if you read the other reviews here then you can see that they do have fees. Stay away!

We delivered this person as agreed a $0 Payment as he agree's. Something his servicer failed to tell him years ago either because they felt it wasn't in their best interest or it wasn't profitable. We are shocked he is anything but happy due to his financial hardship. We are sorry he understood the...

agent as being a part of the Department of Education after we confirm this detail in a Quality Control Third Party Verification which goes over our relationship and the clients understanding as well as it is clearly written in a very plain English agreement which he reviewed and signed.

Client charges we hurt his credit by 90 points, and claims we caused him to default. He receives notice from us as well as his loan holder at the same email address since enrollment. Client was enrolled in February 2015. Approval for a successful consolidation and Income Based Repayment was completed 30 days later on March 30th 2015. Client received a zero-dollar payment with eventual loan forgiveness, just as we promised. Client failed to respond to our calls and emails contacting him for his annual recertification on 02/12/2016 which is only needed when circumstances change, which did in this case.  Email opened receipts included) So we know the emails where opened and he failed to respond. Below is a copy of the notes from the first contact with client after he became PAST DUE  Not DEFAULT as he claims) : General 08/2016[redacted] Client called in, requesting cancellation Client was due for a recertification Sent email informing client of recertification, requesting for updated FSA information, which client opened the same day on 02/12/2016  Client's FedLoan account is linked to the same current address, phone number and email address on file. FedLoan's electronic mail of the recert/past due payments gets delivered to just[redacted] Client never made the effort to contact 1file.org or Fedloan to provide the updated information needed to complete the recertification application. Notified: [redacted]

Client enrolled in our service on 4/18/2016 and signed an agreement which in very plain clear English states our relationship and the services in section # 2 (Copy below). I have also attached a Third Party Verification recording done prior to enrollment with the client which clearly discloses all...

The client application was denied on first attempt as client stated however we refiled and dropped her payment to $67 from $177

I was able to get my refund. Please cancel my complaint. [redacted]

We are terminating our agreement with [redacted] without pursuing any balance due, as is our
right under the law, By the clients own words, we did what we were hired to
do...resulting in client being approved for a Monthly Student Loan payment of $0 for 120 Months, which client claims she...

could
have done herself...at the time of her call to us she had not. (eligible since Sept 2012). We helped her successfully take advantage of the
programs which we made her aware. We delivered approvals and enrollment in to Public service Loan Forgiveness and Income based repayment
under the William D Ford Act resulting in her loans being forgiven after 120
payments of $0  , she called us and was explained all of her options and
decided to enter in to a signed agreement with us for our services. We
delivered for the client as agreed.

Problem: You guys were helping me already, my previous complaint # is [redacted]. Due to the holidays I didn't have time to check my email, but I did today and I wasn't able to respond because I missed the 7 day period. But I want to reopen my complaint. I do not want or need their services no more. In their contract it says if I want to opt out I can call, write, or email them. I've sent them 2 emails already and I've contacted them through this. I prefer to stick with [redacted], regardless if I accrue interest with [redacted]. I feel more at ease and safer with them. 1file.org did not help me. If anything they made my account go negative $149.75.Desired Outcome: I do not wish to be contacted by them anymore and for them to correct my negative account of $149.75. I'm not paying them a dime when I already have my loans in deferment. I shouldn't have to pay anything.

writing in response to our client [redacted] claims. All of which are misleading and untrue enclosed is proof ofservices rendered prior to receiving payment as shown below.[redacted] was provided the services contracted us for, we negotiated with her servicer, getting her loans outof Default status and taking her monthly payment from $173.25 and impending wage garnishment to $0 (YES ZERODOLLARS) with the federal government paying her interest through the William D Ford Act as well as got a majority of hisLoan forgiven through the same Federal program she is eligible.Enclosed is a signed contract dearly outlining how she could do this on her own or she could contract us to do itfor her, Much like you can file your own taxes or hire a professional to get you the most savings. We provide the service prior to getting paid and once she received the benefit he didn't want to pay as agreed. We alsohave a compliance call recording verifying the above was agreed to by the client. We have everything we need to send herto collections and collect the remaining balance if we so choose. We chose not.Her claim is we lied, which is ironic as her whole basis of complaint is a complete and total farce.Sincerely[redacted]1. She did not pay as agreed $5992. Her loans where consolidated and at a Zero payment with no interest as proof in the enclosed letter fromFEDLOAN and the Department of Education.Process

Please respond to the following issues raised by the consumer:- "They say that the monthly payments will be going towards your loans and after certain amount of time your loans are forgiven...The monthly payments in reality are for their own business, never towards your loans."This is simply not true,We record 3rd Party Verifications for each enrollment The TPV is simply created by establishing a 3-way call between our agents, a customer, and the TPV system. Upon connection TPV will ask the customer for identifying information, to confirm their agreement, and if they are the authorized Credit Card Holder and do they understand the relationship, payments and payment dates and other Terms and Conditions within our service agreement, by a neutral party who has no stake in that transaction. TPV call recording is not required. We use TPV as reliable documentation of our Quality Assurance purposes. In that recording the client answered the following with a very clear YES to all.(FILE ATTACHED)Email address:Tax Filing Address:Filing Status:AGI:Family Size:Loan Program:Enrolment FeeObligation amount to Servicer:Monthly Service Fee:Payment Source:Payment Dates:  - "So again I restate this company lies..they dont give 100 percent money back guarantee because if they would, I would not be in this website requesting for my money."

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Reason why I dont accept the response of that business is because they were not clear at all in telling me they were a third party. If they would of explained better to me (that those 40 dollars a month after paying a fee were not going towards my loans)..I would of never proceeded buisness with them. Also, I dont see why I can not get my refund if I never finished paying the fee for them to submit my paper work. Aren't they suppose to get the entire whole money fee before proceeding with buisness?  As a customer, not only was I misinformed and they told me that the money I was paying was going towards my student loans. But in addition, I can not get my money back? So all I want is my 497 dollars back. I reject the response of this buisness, because as a buisness of course they would try to say anything to not pay up. All I am asking for is my refund..and never do business with them again..Thank you!
