Review: 1 Park Place ( owner Steve Hundley ) promoted his website service through webinar hosted by him. I purchased his product ( website for Realtor ) on Aug.28, 2014.Mr. Hundley promised one week, maximum two weeks website completion.Today ( Oct.08, six weeks later ), my website is still not done yet.I can't wait for non-performance anymore )I would like to request a refund of $958 and cancellation of my monthly $9 IDX ( agent website information exchange portal service ) service at once.Desired Settlement: I would like to request a refund of $958 and cancellation of my monthly $9 IDX ( agent website information exchange portal service ) service at once.

Review: Bottom line - I fronted an EXTRA $3,900 on 12/20/2012, on top of the $2,250 and paid an additional $150/month for work never done & features that never came to pass. Details: the basic site cost $250, and I willingly paid the extra with the promise that there were more features coming to be implemented above the basic site - better layouts, custom choices, which I had wanted implemented. Additionally the extra $3,900 was for further features that the upgraded site did not offer, such as a separate second site which was going to be tied to my main site, with features that allowed polls to be set up for submissions of entries, comment posting, hosting mixed media - entries from students in the community of their art work, photographs, essays, videos, etc., password protection features on certain pages for VIP clients, password protected pages with info capture landing pages for capturing visitor info, specifically for prospects who were interested in viewing virtual tours or floor plans, while leaving pictures free for viewing, and other pages with different features - community pages, voting capabilities for pages with submitted entries, etc. In fact over 3 hours were spent at the company offices - it was me, [redacted], and a former employee who was in charge of a lot of the site development, Rory Witt. The fact that nothing ever came of my efforts to get the local high schools involved aside, 1parkplace, specifically, based on the promises of the CEO himself, [redacted], NEVER spent any time nor manpower developing any of the upgrades and features that I had paid for in a lump sum, as well as was paying for monthly. Starting a new business is never easy, and in working close to 70-80 hours a week I really had no time to deal with it. It was only during Christmas break that in examining my expenses for the year that I realized I had been getting charged for features I never got.

In initially reaching out to [redacted], I even said just apply all the money he charged me for work that was never done towards a future credit of the next year and a half. When my efforts fell on a literal deaf ear, I was forced to look into what was available outside of 1parkplace. To my surprise and chagrin, after two weeks' worth of practically working 24/7, I was able to rebuild the site somewhere else for a one-time $30 fee to keep ads off, with MORE features than my current site. I was frankly willing to trade time for money - and I even conceded and stated - had he addressed my concerns and not ignored me, I would have never realized how stupid I was for paying him anything.

A contract works both ways - I pay for what a company is supposed to provide. I got the "we're working on it, we're hiring more people" line that I naively believed. I paid, fast & upfront. 1parkplace, specifically [redacted], never delivered on a single feature above the basic site.

FYI: Here's the breakdown of the dollar amounts: upfront $2,250 (shame on me for paying this, but it is what it is); $400/monthly x 12 (I agreed to the higher rate instead of the $250 as they were supposedly upgrading everything right as I contacted them, and fell for their flashy presentation.) and $3,900 - lump sum fee to implement all the promised features described above. Total = $10,950

In fairness, I did have a website, as overpriced as it was. I am not disputing the $250/monthly rate, nor the $2,250 initial upfront sum. But I will demand the refund of the ADDITIONAL $150/monthly = $1,800, and the $3,900 LUMP SUM for features that were NEVER implemented, that 1parkplace NEVER delivered on.Desired Settlement: I am being fair in stipulating his company keep the $250/monthly for the basic site. I expect a refund of the $150/monthly over and above the basic site, and the lump sum of $3,900 I paid.
