I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowIn response to your letter of 9/9/I have this to sayCurrently, Advantage Dental or rather DrKis contracted with ***It is not the plan I haveHowever, on June 27th when the work was done on my tooth she was participating in the plan I hadWe had argued back and forth about the price of work to be doneAt that time they charged me what I believe to be the correct price so I proceeded with the workThere was never any mention of changing the price later or a balance dueBecause there was an issue with the priced I contacted *** and they again gave me the price list and told me the prices were correctWhen I told them the dentist would not honor these prices, they called the dentist office on my behalfOn July 8, DrKdecided to opt out of the *** plan I have, but up to that date she was a participant in the planTherefore I owe them nothing and they did exactly what I claimed in the original complaintI doubt they can adequately explain their so called adjustment from to because those numbers make no senseI urge you to call yourself and ask if DrClair Kis a member of this plan and if not ask what plan she opted out of on 7/1/Thank you
Regards,
*** ***

This letter serves as a response to the complaint from Patient, *** *** - case ID #***As it states, when the patient first came in, he did not have the coupon for the free *** toothbrushWhen he came in December, he did not present the coupon for the toothbrush and we were
also out of toothbrushes the day he came in but they were on orderWhen the toothbrushes came in, we called him and left a message to call us backHe has not respondedThis patient is more than welcome to come in and bring the coupon so we can give him the toothbrushSincerely, Mandy APractice Manager

Revdex.com spoke to Dawn at business and the following was relayed: We are contracted with [redacted] but not at their fees as the plan she has is not the one we participate in. We did adjust from her entire bill of $1320 to $814, of which she currently still owes $148. Her bill was adjusted to the correct...

amount.

This letter is in response to case ID [redacted]. Patient, [redacted] had called me after she said that she spoke to Dr. K. (endodontist that performed root canal).  Dr. K. had stated that he didn't remember speaking to this patient. She may have spoken to one of the general dentists that were...

on-call after hours when she called. The patient did end up going to see her general dentist and he advised for her to get the tooth extracted. A broken tooth is a risk of having a root canal. I have attached the consent form that she signed that states all risks involved in the surgery. The patient had an appointment with one of our oral surgeons within our group in the [redacted] location.
She did not show up to that appointment. She called me after and I told her that
I can get her in to see Dr. K. She declined the appointment and said that she was going somewhere else. A few weeks later, her and her husband both left me a voicemail message. I called the phone number back that they left and I didn't
get any calls back. When I received the Revdex.com complaint letter, I reached out to the patient again. She said that she didn't receive the message that I left them. When I spoke to her, she wasn't really clear on what she was looking for. I had told her that she can still come in to see the endodontist and she declined saying that she needs to get the tooth taken out but she doesn't have dental insurance right now. I had told her that there wasn't really anything more that I could do. She asked me to call her husband and I wasn't sure why, but I did. He said something completely
different and told me that we never offered for [redacted] to come into the office to see the endodontist. He said that he will call me back. If you need any other information,
please let me know. I feel that I provided
a resolution to the problem but she
declined to come in and see the doctor. The patient should not receive a refund
because the root
canal procedure was performed in full by the doctor. A broken tooth after the
fact is a risk of having the
procedure done and the patient is made aware beforehand. Thank you, Mandy A. Practice Manager
