Review: I was involved in an auto accident on 2/27/13 and allowed the tow truck to take my vehicle to 1st Choice Auto Body for repair. On 2/28/13, I made a visit to said shop to meet with the owner and speak about the necessary repairs needed to my vehicle. I was assured the repairs would be done in a timely manner and I would be satisfied with the results. The claims adjuster for my insurance company also visited the said shop and the estimate for repairs was $10,716. The insurance company paid said shop within a week's time for the repairs to be completed. The repair process took 82 days for completion and the vehicle has damages from said shop. On 5/20/13, I arrived at said shop to retrieve the vehicle when I noticed scratches on the grill of the vehicle. I informed the shop's owner and he proceeded to blame the scratches on the factory. After leaving said shop, I noticed the driver's side seat belt would not retract properly because of a tear. I also noticed the front left turn signal was not operable because of a burnt bulb. The shop contacted me on 5/21/13 and stated he would order a new grill and new seat belt to repair the damaged items. On 5/21/13, while having an oil change completed on the vehicle, the Tires Plus mechanic noticed the bottom portion of the grill does not match the rest of the automobiles paint color. As part of the required repairs said shop was to paint the front of the vehicle to match the rest of the automobile. As a result of 1st Choice Auto Body's slow repairs, I was forced to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle for 37 days in the amount of $1,602. The reason I was continuously given for the delay was parts were on backorder, manpower issues, and at one point the owner stated business was slow and funds were tight. Considering my insurance company paid for the proper repairs of the vehicle, I believe money should not have been an issue. I no longer wish to have my vehicle in the hands of any personnel at 1st Choice Auto Body.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of funds paid to [redacted] for 37 days beyond what the insurance company covered in the amount of $1,602. I would also like the refund of monies paid by [redacted] for the cost of a new seat belt, new grill, and proper paint job on the front of the vehicle.

Review: My car was struck by a drunk driver on December 1st, 2012. I was approached by several "wreck chasers" and was handed a business card for 1st Choice Auto body. I did not have my car towed by them at that time. I had the PPA tow my car to one of their lots until I decided where my repairs would be done. I chose 1st choice auto. The owner made me feel very comfortable and reassured me he has been in the business for many years, and I would be in good hands. 1st choice auto had my car towed to their lot from the PPA on December 5th, 2012. My insurance appraiser had received and agreed to pay damages. the total estimate of repair was 24 days. 1st choice Auto body cashed the first check from my insurance company December 12th, 2012 in the amount of $8,080.10 and cashed a second check on January 7, 2013 in the amount of $1,042.72. After may documented calls to 1st choice auto body, the answer was always the same, "parts are on back order; a holiday just passed; there's a delay in production; your car will be done soon ". When the 45 days of my rental coverage were due to end, I was reassured time and time again not to worry because they were going to pay for the rental car. I would just bring them a receipt and they would write me a check. Needless to say, 97 days later on March 12, 013 my car was finally ready. I had now been in 2 rental cars the first one paying $ 974.00 on my charge card and the second rental car paying $732.66 on my charge card; totaling $1706.66. Upon picking up my vehicle, I proposed my receipts from my rental car expecting to be compensated on the spot; the owner said he did not have that kind of money because "business was slow". He gave me $300.00 in cash and wrote me a promise to pay note for the remaining $1406.66 stating he would then make monthly installments. To date, no payment has aver been made to me. This company is a disgrace. They put me in debt... I am still paying on my credit cards!Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed the $1406.66 in rental car charges I was promised almost a year ago.

Review: Long story short(and still on going). Car was involved in an accident and towed to First Choice Autobody in Feb 2014, a 3 week job turned into a 3 month job and it's still not 110%. After waiting forever and being promised the car would be done, this Friday or that Friday-only to look at the car and find the same things wrong or more things wrong. We finally removed the car off the lot on June 12, 2014.Car still isn't 110%. The autobody place lost the car keys, remote control to unlock and lock doors, ripped the drivers seat, front seats are black-due to storing parts in car.Frank the owner, called my insurance company only 2 days after the accident requesting the check be sent to him directly. Check was made out to all 3 of us but Frank forged my husband and my name and cashed the check on March 3. Frank thought he was slick and had my husband sign a third party authorization form but it was dated March 12, so it's after the check was cashed, so it is FORGERY. Don't let First Choice by your choice. DON'T GO HERE!!!!Desired Settlement: First Choice isn't capable(after 3 long months) of completed the work timely and effectively. I would like to be reimbursed for the work not completed and for the work not completed right. Money towards upholstery cleaning of front seats and a new remote control key pad (to unlock/lock doors & trunk)

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the only way for this to be resolved is if First Choice Auto Body to reimburse us in the amount of $1855.00. When we left the shop on June 12 we drove directly to another auto body to have her concerns addressed. There is still $1650.00 of front unibody damage, $150.00 remote for car, $55.00 for rip in drivers seat. I cant be without my car for another 5 to 7 months. First Choice isn't reliable, dependable or capable of addressing the front unibody damage considering this wasnt done within the 5 months you had our car-Feb to June. I don't care how "very satisfied" the adjuster was "Apparently" he didn't do a great job either he missed the damage still not done and us receiving a suppmental check after he came to our house the week of June 16 for additional issues with the car.Regards,
