When we buy a car, whether it be from an auto auction or trade-in, we have it inspected by our mechanic We do this to try and give ourselves, being salesman, a peace of mind that when we are speaking to our customers with a sense of confidence with what we are selling With that in mind, these are used cars Not only are these used cars, but most of them have over 100,miles on them They are going to require a certain level of maintenance and care to prolong their life and reliability We understand that we are not going to be 100% on our diagnosis and analysis of what is going on with these cars Because of this, we always give our customers an opportunity to take any of our cars to a mechanic of their choice We encourage our customers to do, so they have their own peace of mind with what they are buying and the potential risk they may be making with their purchase On this Subaru, we had no knowledge of deep engine issues It had a small head gasket leak During that process, we had the timing belt and water pump replaced as well If it had the typical Subaru tick, it obviously wasn't bad enough for the customer to be concerned and clearly not something we would have been able to hide because he states he heard some knocking No where in his complaint does he say we told him this knock was not a concern or something he shouldn't get inspected by a mechanic of his choice It is unfortunate that he had issues, and not something we would like to happen to any of our customers We staff a mechanic to help remedy some of these issues and make these kind of repairs more affordable In this case our customer declined that offer [redacted] ***Boise, ID 83714Ph###-###-####Fax###-###-####

*** *** please keep this on your site so other customers may see how they handle there business .we will let others know.I believe everyone is intilted to make mistakes but how they Handel them is another thing.my Husband and I have went through this exact thing in our business and we did the right thing for our customer and our business .its not always about what we make its what is fair.there was defiance from the start.that really shows your character .we would like to thank the Revdex.com for trying to mediate this issue.we know the laws are different in your state. Have a good Day

The customer is correct, there was an honest mistake made in labeling the pictures of two valances sold in an advertisement in Country Sampler MagazineWe make every effort to try to make sure that things are done correctly so that our customers are not disappointed.Unfortunately, no matter
what/how we explained this to Ms ***, she was not accepting anything other than the substantially reduced price for a more expensive valanceAs much as we would like to give our customers everything they ask for, we cannot sell this valance below cost.We have explained this to many other customers who called and they understood that it was an honest mistake (and not meant to deceive anyone) - and purchased from us.It would not be fair to our other customers, if we make exceptions to those who are rude and trying to capitalize on an innocent error. We stand behind our decision and are sorry that an error was made.I just wanted to add to our previous response that we have a written response on our website in the event that pricing errors occur (which is very rare). Here is what is stated online and I have also included a link to our site as well:www.countryvillageshoppe.comWEBSITE / CATALOG PRICING ERRORS: All prices on this web site are subject to change without noticeWhile we make every effort to provide you the most accurate up-to-date information, occasionally one or more items on our web site may be mis-pricedIn the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Country Village Shoppe shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will notify you of the price errorYou will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price if you so wish, or cancel that portion of your order.Sandra DiedrickOwnerCountry Village ShoppeMall DrAppleton, WI 54913920-380-1790www.countryvillageshoppe.com

Regards,
Vera   My husband and I have owned our business for over 25 years and we take pride in our business dealings with our customers and in Pennsylvania we stick to what is right.if we advise a price for an item weather it's a miss print or not we stand by our advertised price. We allow the customer to have up to one at that advertised pice and the others would be the correct price and have let the customer purchase additional ones if they were adamant about the product..this is part of being in business, taking care of your customers.I except that it was a honest mistake but if you want to stay in good graces with your customers you sometimes have to bite bullet and do it in a nice way not to upset the person that feeds you.and believe me I am not trying to tell you how to run your business but as a business person myself, try to be a little more understanding and polite .

Per the phone conversation the business owner was not willing to refund the complete amount of the order including return shipping, this was the business's error or false advertising not any fault of the customer. I should receive from them the complete refund including shipping and the cost to ship the item back or the second panel as advertised. Total refund should be $27.90 or $22.90 and the business provides a prepaid shipping label. The item dimensions were for one panel were listed as 72 x 14 it was advertised that 2 panels would be provided Set of 2. The time frame of 30 days is not acceptable due to it may take more time to resolve this issue again this is the business's error not the customer.
