1st Choice Collision Center

This vehicle is Total Loss buy back with a salvage title and was brought to 1st Choice Collision Center on 10/16/after being reviewed for months and deemed as not repairable by Texas Auto Care body shop.I let Mr [redacted] know that I would give him a second opinion as a courtesy and did inform him that I would only be able to work on his vehicle when my priority work had been completedHe did agree to these terms.I have attached the body shop estimate with Mr [redacted] signature acknowledging that he would be responsible to bring and or purchase all parts needed for repair and that 1st Choice Collision would only complete the body work, paint and parts installation.Mr [redacted] has brought in non required or requested payments totaling $on the following dates: 09/22/$250.00, 10/16/$and 12/30/$I let him know that these payments were not needed until the vehicle was ready for pickup but he stated if he didn't give it to me he would spend it.The vehicle has been worked on and parts have been purchased receipts of purchase show 11/13/and 11/16/As known the hail storm of did move Mr [redacted] vehicle to a pending statusOn 08/25/I did inform Mr [redacted] that he would need a new frame after frame technicians each with years experience stated that a new frame would need to be purchased and installed before replacing any partsThis information upset Mr [redacted] and he became irateI offered to return his deposits and give him the parts purchased as a courtesy without charging any storage fees or labor for the work done and time spent in an attempt to pull and repair the damaged frameI have attached photos of the vehicle and the signed estimate1st Choice Collision has a good rating and I would appreciate if this claim did not affect my rating negatively.Should you have any questions please contact me at [redacted] Sincerely [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is unacceptable and clearly deceptiveI was told that my vehicle would be fixed and given a priceI was told it would be fixed in a reasonable time unlike his neighboring body shop business who took three months and did nothingHe was aware of this situation and knew that I had problems with a previous body shop located next door to himHe assured me he can fix it in less than three monthsThis was not doneI was given the run around soon afterI was told that there were labor problems and he could not get to my truck month after monthI after nearly eight months I was told it was being worked onAlmost a year later when I threatened legal action he suddenly gave me the excuse he gave you the Revdex.comAll of a sudden he could not do the work after nearly a yearI do not believe the Revdex.com should give a business like this such a ratingThis will empower him to be more deceptiveI expect a realistic ? rating from the Revdex.com and this is a view into this businesses practicesI see that the owner called me a liar and will have no problem in a court defending my statement as I have many times as a law enforcement officerHe can roll the dice with you and court or be more responsible for his business practicesSimply having my vehicle for a year and falsely claiming that he was working on my vehicle is not sufficient and unacceptableI have no title to the vehicle since it is still being financedI am unaware of any salvage title since [redacted] does not sale Salvage vehicles.Regards, [redacted]

As known the hail storm of 2016 did move Mr. [redacted] vehicle to a pending status. On 08/25/16 I did inform Mr. [redacted] that he would need a new frame after 2 frame technicians each with 30 years experience stated that a new frame would need to be purchased and installed before replacing any parts. This information upset Mr. [redacted] and he became irate. I offered to return his deposits and give him the parts purchased as a courtesy without charging any storage fees or labor for the work done and time spent in an attempt to pull and repair the damaged frame.
