All damage to this home has been repaired as of this week, We went and repaired the siding. We also went and repaired duct box last week and all other issues.

I had complete exterior siding done August 2019 It is expanding and bulging with heat no movement Doing the opposite in the cold looks like a seascape
The entire siding job was $7500 I was billed for 2550 ft.² I have a new estimate for $9600 which is a complete tear off and redo and the actual square footage of the house is 1800 ft.² I was overbilled every single bit of the home siding is failing it is anchored tight to the home it is buckling and then shrinking all sorts of distortion originally just the back and now with the cold weather the front the job is only been completed for two months it took a Google review and a complaint to get any response from the owner. He has no subcontractor licensing now I am told an he was not on job except to drop stuff all check written to his person *** per his request.
One employee told me I am off the books in the middle of applying for the ability if I fall off this ladder I can sue you. So needless to say with the shotty work and the uninsured employees *** and his staff are not welcome on my property again I have previously asked for half of the job back and been denied I now see full reimbursement and or complete damages

Desired Outcome

Full reimbursement of the $7500

Mrs. *** has been emailing us since the last part of September and first part of October. She requested one of our installers come out and look at a section of her home where the siding hadn't settled and was wavy. We sent out one of the original installers who worked on her house and had determined that one small section of the house had been nailed to tight causing it to bunch up as the weather turned from hot to cold it would constrict. We tried for two weeks to contact Ms. to send out someone to do the repairs. We had determined that we did install it wrong and would fix it FREE. At this time Ms. still had an outstanding balance of $2600.00 and had stopped paying because of this incident. We continued trying to contact Ms. for several weeks until she finally emailed us that she did not want anyone from my company touching her house. She had gotten other company to come access the damage and of course another company is going to try and sell her on a new vinyl siding job, So and talk trash about another company's work. That's just how they are. It went from repairing the messed up section to full replacement in a matter of two weeks. We had agreed to fix the messed up section and credit her $2600.00 that she owe's. She's very belligerent and impossible to deal with, she yelled and screamed at my guys when we were there working and we did our best to tolerate Ms.. My company has done everything to resolve this matter peacefully with her and she's contingent on getting someone else to pay for another vinyl siding job when it's not necessary.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The reason Mr. has been emailed through September is because he was out with back surgery and at this point the issues have been increasing with the weather changes and I wanted all communications in writing I had made several attempts to call him as well as included my current current number and his answering service when I failed to hear back from him the only thing that resulted in a response was a Google review.
The siding first began bulging off the house as it became hot in August immediately after the completion of the job it is now cold and it is shrinking just about all over the house. I became aware of his lead guy working off the books and he made a comment to me that if he fell off the ladder he could sue me this was when he was replacing a few pieces of previously defective siding so of course I'm not allowing anyone from that company on my property.
The one and only time I screamed at anyone was the non-English-speaking Mexicans on the roof after covering my HVAC unit with a tarp and causing it to overheat and shut down I came home from a small grocery trip and my house was over 80° with my pets inside.
So all this being said it does not address the fact that my house is actually 1800 ft.² and I was billed for 2500 ft.² nor does it is dress the shotty work that is creeping all over the house and yes there is a balance owed on it of $2567 I have paid $4933 and that is the minimum Since he admits an issue would a home inspectors opinion suit Mr ***? I expect back so I can start over the only time I asked Mr. for the entire $9600 is if I had to go through litigation and seek damages I have plenty of pictures of the home and the siding and it's bulging so please let's address the issues not my disgruntled attitude

We've made every attempt to reconcile this matter with Ms., and we are still willing to provide whatever labor and materials that are needed to complete this job and make the necessary repairs at no cost to Ms.. As for the sub-contractor working off the books that's absolutely not true. Every employee that works at 1st Choice Contractors is covered by our Insurance and our bond. When I confronted this Employee about this conversation he denied it so I don't know who to believe and can't understand why he would tell her that. He's my longest working employee and actually knows more about construction than I ever will. As for the measurements discrepancy We measured Ms. mobile home and charged her accordingly. I'm wondering why our price with more square footage is less than the repairs she's asking for with less square footage.

In closing i'm still willing to send anyone Ms. chooses to do the repairs, as for the entire house needing to be removed and resided. That's absolutely not true, I rode by and looked at Mr's ***'s house today before responding to this response and the house looks fine except the one area that she originally complained about.

So please Ms. let's stop airing this out through a third party and let's get to fixing your house. I'll pay for any contractor you wish to do the work as long as its just the repairs.

Mike and a 3rd party installer came as asked and reviewed the entire house. There isa fair amount we all agree needs to be reinstated and some repairs. We did the math and found middle ground on the square footage and it is agreed that with the repairs we will do the garage and I will finish paying the balance when completed.
Things are always more reasonable face to face. The job is scheduled for Jan/Feb. Looking forward to the positive outcome

Still unresolved Mr *** has not even attempted to repair issues. I keep getting put off. I have also submitted a complaint to the LLR at this point as well. He had stated he would pay An installer of my choice And I feel that is best. Lowest bid is $7800 so I would like this or my money paid Mr ***, $4980 refunded.

This was a new construction install. No one from my company ever rushes a homeowner to finish a job the complaint has been filed by the mother of the person we actually worked for and did the install for. At the time we did set unit and install condenser homeowner didn't even have insulation I'm the attic and was wondering why in wasnt cooling properly. Summer days in the south exceed 90-100 degrees with 100% humidity. When we finally did get a list of issues homeowner wanted corrected we went out the very next day and fixed all the problums.

Awesome service and very knowledgeable technicians and staff. Mike was easy to work work with and kept me informed throughout the process.
