There were installation issues with the roof, which have been fixed. The gutters took longer than normal due to struggles my gutter sub was having in his personal life. [redacted] is no longer working with our company due to struggles of his own. I am delivering a check to [redacted] tonight for $6,336 to cover the cost of replacing his entire wood floor in the back room. Originally, I was told that the wood floor damage was in the insurance claim, which is why I asked [redacted] about that. Neither I, nor anyone else at 1st Choice, suggested we make a new claim on his insurance to cover the cost of the floor damage. Our company did make 3 other attempts to find wood floor companies to give a competitive estimate, but we were unable to find any. We will put a final invoice in to the [redacted]'s insurer for the work we completed on their home. We wish the [redacted] all the best as they are expecting a newborn.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
1st Choice has paid for the damages rendered and replaced/repaired all issues from the initial install.  They also have provided the painting of a large rear room as a gratuitous consolation.  Assuming there are no surprises in the final invoice and it is provided in a timely manner this matter has been resolved.
