Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The contractor and I signed a contract on 2/14/to build total 1245sq.ft and 239sq.ft.addition to existing unit.I gave them my initial floor plans and told them that it's just a draft just to get the setbacks and total area I can build and that it needs to be checked with the lender on specific requirements as per HUD and FHA.The lender were following up with them for months and told them the urgency but they failed to submit the final plans on time. They finally emailed me in June(cutting away 239sq.ft.addition to the existing unit and charging additional $20K from the contract agreement if I want to have that 239sq.ft.addition) which was not approved by me, nor by any engineer, nor the city. The damages they caused is more than the deposit of $I am asking backTheir delays and manipulation to get more money from me is just unacceptableBut all I ask is that so I can move on
