I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Although I do not agree with Jan C[redacted]'s response as to what actually happened I do find the offer of covering any additional costs satisfactory. Naturally, no one can predict personal or family major illnesses. However, one can honestly communicate with clients and allow THEM to make choices rather than make the choices for clients. Thank you, Revdex.com, for allowing me to voice my complaint.

My Response: We are a small business that provides tax preparation for over 1,000 satisfied clients. Wedo not advertise and stay busy due to our referrals from satisfied clients.At the beginning of March my husband was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. We hadto deal with all the things that...

needed to be done that could not wait until after tax season.Any time that I was not present at treatments, surgery or recovery I was living at my office.I did file extensions for those clients that I was not able to complete by the 18th of April.When I do complete those returns after the deadline, I am fair with my clients and coverthe costs incurred for the late filing of their returns. However, when someone picks uptheir data and does not allow us to finish their return, then it is impossible to finish up in atimely manner - I had agreed to finish this particular return by the 1st of May. Any feesincurred until the 1st of May we would have been glad to cover.No one likes to have an unhappy client and we are sorry that sometimes life happens to allof us.RegardsJan C[redacted]
