Customer service manager was unprofessional and unethical. Marked my account "refusal to pay" and forwarded to credit reporting agencies.
I was contacted by All Debt Solutions in April 2019. I spoke with a customer service manager "***". He was very rude from the start of the call. The matter was in regards to a medical debt which I was willing to pay that day by credit card. *** was very unprofessional and unethical. I asked to speak to his manager and he refused. *** said he would mark my account "refusal to pay" and would forward to credit reporting agencies. I then called the credit and settled the matter. The credit informed me that they informed All Debt Solutions to cancel the collection. However All Debt Solutions went against this request and forwarded to credit reporting on May 2nd, resulting in a negative impact on my credit record. This behavior is fraudulent, unethical, and this company should not be in business if this is how they treat their clients.

Desired Outcome

All Debt Solutions should contact all credit reporting agencies about the matter and remove the information on my credit report.

In response to the complaint filed by Mr.:

Mr. accused us of being rude and unprofessional and wrongly reporting his delinquent balance to the credit bureau for non-payment. He further stated that we had no right to report it to the credit bureau because he stated that he had "already paid it last month". In an attempt to assist Mr. this morning, I asked him to please provide us with the dated receipt for the payment made. I assured him that if this was our error that we would correct it immediately. I also reminded Mr. that between January 31, 2019 and March 18, 2019 that we mailed to him 5 notices as reminders of the past due account. Mr. in frustration, and not wanting to hear what we were asking him for, abruptly terminated our call and said he was calling our client to get the "proof of payment".

A brief time after that conversation, our client notified us that Mr. had indeed paid the balance in full, however, it was just done in the last few minutes. There was no payment made last month as Mr. so adamantly insisted. There was no receipt of payment made last month because there was no payment. We had every right to report the non-payment to the credit bureau, and we pride ourselves on our professionalism and courtesy extended to consumers. Mr. provided false information to the *** in the complaint, and with that known fact presented, I would ask that this complaint please be removed from our record.

Harassing phone calls. Disrespectful, abrasive, cursed, threatened. Wanted to voluntarily work with them but he needed immediate payment. Wanted post dated checks. If didn't pay today was going directly to court.

Also placed numerous (3) threating phone calls to sister. Told them she was not the person owing debt and they insisted she was lying.

In reply to this complaint it's important to first understand that this balance is over 3 years old. We sent notification to the consumer 3 months ago. We have been attempting to contact her over the phone also for 3 months. We finally spoke with her recently and she informed us that she wanted to resolve at the end of this month, we accepted her request but the consumer then refused. We did not ask for a post dated check, we never cursed (the consumer however was profane) and did not threaten anyone at any time. We'll notify our client that the consumer will be paying them directly as they have stated. We will not contact the consumer again as they've requested.
