1st Class Heating & Air came out to diagnose why my AC wasn't coolingIt turned out I had a bad circuit breaker on my main breaker panel***, the technician, was honest and told me what was wrong instead of trying to sell me a complete new systemAfter getting the breaker fixed I called again and they came out and did a thorough inspection & cleaning of my systemI was sure there'd be additional charges; it's easy to up-sell an unsuspecting customer coolant whether the system needs it or not*** was very honest, and did the basic service and now the house is coolVery good business integrity, fair price, and punctual, courteous serviceThank you *** and 1st Class Heating & AirYou've earned a customer!

I called them since my downstairs a/c was not cooling enough.
Since the unit was less than 5 years old, I told them that the parts might be warrantied and check with the manufacturer. He somehow didnt like that.
On my insistance, he decided to check with the manufacturer.
He went and got the parts. He told me that the parts were indeed covered by warranty.
But he still charged me around $600 ,just the labor.
His reason was that he had to go to couple of stores to get the part.
I am not sure how that will fall under labor.
I dont work in this field but talked to some folks who had done repairs in past. As per them its a rip off to have such a higher price when the part was already covered by warranty.
Moreover only thing I got was his receipt. He didnt give any bill/invoice from manufacturer.

We chose them because they look good online and they made lots of great promises. The owner was real nice and talked about all the great awards the company had. Boy what a dig 8,700.00 mistake! The job was rushed and they had to come back several time to fix things. And wants the job was paid for we no longer get first-class service! Not only was the owner and the lady that answers the phones rude and called me a smart [redacted] because I was making him aware of everything that had gone wrong and they act like they don't care anymore. Trying to get an appointment Is crazy! This time we made an appointment for a week later and was told they would be here in a window between 10 and 12 now it's 2 o'clock and they still have not come. We just called and they said they called our phone number and no one answered so they dispatched him to a different job. Come to find out it was another new sales quote which apparently is more important then their customers. We have been waiting here on a Saturday all day and again they are not here. This is very typical. When you have a job done you want it done right the first time. I'm going to contact my finance company and see if there's anything I can do. Please deware we work hard for money and you want to spend it right. The sad thing is I truly thought we found a great Heat/AC company and we didn't.
