I am sorry that you felt you were unjustly charged when you visited 1st Pet on 8/6/2016. I did want to clarify a few things that you may not have understood. 1st Pet is open 24 hours, 7days a week for your pets medical needs. We offer general...

practice Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm. We also see emergency visits throughout the day 7days a week around the clock. Saturdays and Sundays are emergency only since general practice is closed. We do not treat walk-ins as "urgent care", all walk-ins are seen as emergency visits. When you brought your pet in Saturday morning 8/6/2016 you were seen as an emergency.You mentioned in your complaint about the charge of $56.00 which was correct. Bandage charges are not based on the size of a pet. You mentioned your dog weighed less than 20 pounds so the charge was not right. Pricing is based on materials, doctor time, and technician time involving the case. Bandages are charges as x-small, small, medium, large, and x-large. You where invoiced for the x-small bandage which was appropriate. 
The troubling matter to 1st Pet is that you were presented with an estimate prior to any services rendered in the amount of $231.00 which was approved and signed by Brian Steffens. The services where then provided by 1st Pet and you were invoiced for the amount of $223.17, $7.83 under your approved estimate. 
1st Pet presented you with a medical treatment plan by the doctor as well as an estimate of cost. You approved the estimate and your pet was treated. I am sorry you feel that you where overcharged even though charges were approved by you.
