In response to this:

(1) Roof: Biggest concern is the rake/gabling channel pieces. There are pieces that do not overlap where joined together but have gaps. This is on all the structures except the shed. Additionally, there is damage to the stone-coating in different areas such as pipe flashing, on rake/gabling, and some hip and ridge pieces. Suspect hip and ridge also not installed properly. (Awaiting determination due to snow impediment.). (Decra-XD Installation Guide attached to this email for your reference.) One drip edge bent inward to fit into too-short gutter.
(2) Gutters: Gutter on second story not hung in correct fashion. Leaf guards not installed correctly. Leaf guards put on gutters and prior to doing so gutters were not cleaned out so gutters have roofing material in them. Gutter on garage is dinged. Multiple gutters (e.g., on 2nd story of house and garage) do not cover the expanse of the roof (i.e., the gutters are too short).
(3) Down spouts: One downspout was not replaced as new but traded out with a downspout from another area of my house that had it’s downspout replaced as new. Another downspout has multiple holes drilled in it, meaning unused holes, and the clamps are recycled clamps also with multiple holes in them.
(4) Downspout extenders: three of them damaged after install, stepped on when they could have been hung up and latched for security and being out of the way.
(5) Paint: Where proper paint has been applied it appears to look okay except for on the fascia and overspray onto gutters and downspouts. Problem is, too, that paint has been applied outside of where authorized (“spot painted”) and also not everywhere that was contracted to be applied so that my front wall is, presumably, going to go through another winter with an increasing amount of damage due to paint chipping away due to winter weather penetration. Also, a foreign paint was applied to a portion of the front wall and was not the authorized paint. (This occurred before last winter.). Unknown if this paint is causing exacerbation of paint chipping on the stucco wall as the wall continues to wait to be painted. Paint on fascia was not applied after cleaning the fascia and the gutters were not taken down.
(6) Fence: Never stained.
(7) Clean-up: Left substantive parts, cigarette butts, water bottle with urine in it, leaf guard containers and paperwork, nails, and wood beams.
(8) Damages: Stucco (two areas, one due to painter and the other due to roofers). Video shows roofers using the front wall as a ladder. Repairs needed to both. Fascia over front door damaged from roofers. Again, downspout extenders and gutters. Gutters now have paint (green and white) splattered on them because of the manner in which fascia and a wall was painted on my house. Painter trashing property of mine (i.e., literally throwing in the trash property of mine).

1st Priority has not provided a reasonable remedy but only alleged “insurance fraud” and “civil theft” and demanded that I pay it an ambiguous amount of money and forfeit the warranty. 1st Priority has also misrepresented facts to my insurance provider, informing the provider that the work has been completed as per the contract and knowing the opposite is true.

1st Priority Roofing Response • Nov 21, 2019

We were sorry to hear ***'s experience and view of what happened. For the last month we have been working with *** to come to an agreement with our lawyer. *** and 1st Priority have worked out their difference and she has now paid us for the work that we did. We helped ease any concerns she may of had. We have both agreed to go our separate ways on the rest of the work that needed to be done. I believe she was even going to remove this complaint from the records. Please call Josh at *** if you have any further questions.

Thanks

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: of what it says about removing my complaint with the Revdex.com. My complaint was

legitimate and I think IT helped produce the resolution 1st Priorty and I have agreed upon.

Sincerely

Excellent Service, kindness, and complete respect for the customer, Me. They were persistent in referring to me as CSM, not my name, out of respect for who I am. Besides USAA, I have never experienced that before. Chad ***, who was my primary care taker for fixing our roof with other damages, took complete care of my needs and answered any questions I had. Good Dude. They even gave me a Military discount, big help on that one. 1ST Priority, totally recommend because I know that Hail will come again!!!
I sure appreciate the experience.

Our home in SW Denver received hail damage to the roofs & gutters this summer. We had 1st Priority Roofing give us an estimate since they’d been recommended by a friend. Their estimate aligned with the insurance company so we hired them. We dealt mainly with Gregg at 1st Priority. He was very professional throughout the project. He helped with shingle color selection, ordering materials, scheduling the work dates, & completing the project in a timely manner. We appreciated his communication by phone, email, & photos. The new shingles & gutters look great! We highly recommend 1st Priority Roofing!

Vadym with first priority has been exceptionally good to work with. He has been prompt and very communicative and explains things very well. He also works very well with my insurance company. He has done three Roofs for me along with the gutters and also painted one house. I highly recommend Vadym and first priority

Contacted 1st priority for roof replacement. They promptly came out to see the roof and gave me an estimate. Said they would make sure to be here and meet with the insurance adjuster. Insurance adjuster appointment came and they didn’t show up. Tried to call and email my point of contact and no answer.

In August of 2018 1st priority roofing came to my residence and replaced my shingles on my roof as well as my gutters due to the hail storm last year. The team was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. you've hired a very great group of men. Least to say I am pleased with the work preformed and would recommend this company too everyone.

1st Priority Roofing did a A 1 + + job on my roof, it's really done to a excellent standard. Professionals all the way. A team of 11 people showed up, including a on site supervisor, and didn't leave until the job was done, and done right. They cleaned up everything especially the nails, like 5 times, then came back the next day to double check the clean up. Also they provided a customer support representative by phone, email, or text 24/7 during the entire process. When extra work was needed during the process, they completed it and did ALL the follow-up with the insurance company to get their money for extra items, time, and equipment and materials needed to do the job right. Getting a new roof is a process, believe me. As a consumer it's important to do your homework before starting the job, including knowing the process of your insurance company, the contractor process, and the payment process, it's complicated any you need to know what and how it works. Lots of information on the internet, and from your own insurance company, adjuster, and your contractor. My POC with 1st Priority Roofing was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had a very very nice roof put on that looks good, and is built to the highest possible standards. Very happy with the roof. I saw so many contractors taking short cuts on the homes up and down the street during the replacement of nearly every roof in Security Co last year. So, no short cuts from this Company, I watched too!!
Rest assure, 1st Priority will get your roof done right. Thanks Jerry F., Security, CO

I do not understand how this company is still in business. My parents needed a new roof due to hail damage. Mark, the lead from 1st Priority told them they would be well taken care of. After the roof was complete I did a visual inspection, as my parents are in their 70's and unable to climb on a roof. I noticed that the flashing around the chimney was not removed or replaced as well as the drip edge around the entire house and garage, even though they were charged for this on the invoice. I then itemized the entire invoice and found over $3,000.00 in charges that had never been completed. When I met with Mark to discuss, he would not even look me in the eye and proceeded to blame the office, even though the emailed invoice came from him. He did eventually remove the charges; but I would say 1st Priority charges for everything they can find and they leave it to up to the customer to confirm or deny the work was complete. This really makes me wonder how may customers they have ripped off; customers who may not want to or are unable to climb on a roof to inspect the work. They also broke the swamp cooler water line (which took them several months to fix), forgot to attach the anchor for the electricity and put all the new materials on the lawn (killed the grass), instead of the concrete driveway, which was 5 feet away. When I was taking a better look at the job, my foot almost went through the roof. I crawled in the attic and saw a completely busted roofing plank. 1st Priority simply put roofing felt and shingles over this almost 2 foot hole. Once again I notified Mark and he apologized, saying that he saw this hazard and instructed his crew to replace the plank, but they must have forgotten. After going back and forth with Mark, he finally agreed to fix the problem. His resolution was putting in a piece of tin. In the end 1st Priority wants to charge my parents over $13K for a "new roof", when all they received was "new repaired roof". I did have a separate roofing company do an inspection and they recommended redoing the entire job. They said the craftsmanship of that company was pathetic! He said they had a name for companies like 1st Priority, "Storm Chasers". I advise anyone who has used this company to do a thorough inspection at the work and especially at the invoice.

Without a doubt we would use 1st Priority Roofing again and we do recommend 1st Priority Roofing for your roofing needs. You will not be disappointed. Customer service is professional and prompt.

1st Priority Roofing did our roof after the hail damage we had on our home. They were so professional. Our roof looks beautiful and everyone on our block is amazed at how awesome it looks. Our neighbor is now having his roof done by them. What a great company they are and would highly recommend them to everyone that wants a fantastic job done by great people.

1st Priority provided regular and helpful communication. After a mishap on 1st day of the job, they more than bent over backwards to make things right. Excellent customer service.

The best! I talked to a few other local Denver roofing companies, but 1st Priority was by FAR the best! They were easy to work with, very professional and really care about their clients! Highly recommended!

We had three roofs done this last hail storm and Dave with the company was outstanding. They were true to their word and didn't try to cheat us out of any money at all! I would definitely recommend them and will use them again next time we need new roofs!

The team at 1st Priority roof was amazing! The price couldn't be beat, they were able to help me on short notice, and they got the job done very quickly for minimal disruption. I am extremely happy with my new roof, and with the service this company provided.

As a Colorado Realtor, I'm frequently in the market for a new roof, either for my buyers or sellers. 1st Priority Roofing has never let me down, saving my clients sometimes thousands of dollars and saving me TIME!! I highly recommend this company.

1st Priority replaced a roof on a modular building for our school. The work was completed promptly, the communication from the company was timely, and we are very pleased with the end results! Great work!!

Chad Williams with 1st Priority was awesome to work with. He has great communication and got things done in a very timely manner. He comes highly recommended as we are super happy with the new roof they installed for us. Thanks again Chad!

Chad W, Billy S, and the rest of 1st Priority Roofing were awesome. They worked with me every step of the way as I was new to this whole insurance claims business. Chad sat down with me and helped me understand my claim, and worked with me to get me a new roof and gutters on our budget. The work was done quickly and professionally and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.
