Review: We asked [redacted] at 2-1 Tire and Auto for a price for fix the front damage on the car. We let him know that we are pricing it around and will go to another mechanic to get another quote.

A couple of hours later we called and he said he still doesn't have an estimate. He said he spending ''hours and hours'' to take the car apart to give a quote for repair. Someone told me that this is not normal for mechanic to take apart your car to give an estimate so I went the next morning to pick up the car. [redacted] said the car can't be driven since he took it apart so I told him I will call [redacted] to tow the car to another mechanic. [redacted] then said that he will not allow me ti take my car out unless I pay him. He didn't give me any estimate. He showed me a small sign on the wall that was not pointed out to me when dropping off the car that there;s $100 storage fee and then $50 a day to leave the car. The car was there overnight (since he said he needs more time) and I came at 10:30 am to pick it up and it was dropped off at 4:30 the night before.

I told him if he doesn't release the car, I will call the police. The police came and said that it's a civil issue and I can't do anything about it besides report him to Revdex.com and sue him in small claims court.

So, since he said I can only pay cash, I had to pay the $150 to him for him to release my car. I didn't even get an estimate.

He held me up for 2 hours in the snow while I was with my newborn baby.Desired Settlement: $150 cash refund
