Initial Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2015/12/15) */
We would like to respond to this case as so:
"You must understand that we did everything to repair your device in a timely and workmanlike manner. When your device was dropped off, we assessed what needed done. You needed a...
power board. We contacted [redacted] to get this part, unfortunately the part was on backorder and we had to wait two and a half weeks for the part to show up. That's out of our control. Once we received your power board, we installed it and tried to get the computer to boot up. Still no luck, it was then when we realized you needed a new motherboard. It's not that "we thought we knew what the problem was", there was no way of knowing that you needed a new motherboard without testing it first, we needed the power board first before we could even test anything on your motherboard. Your old power board took out and damaged your old motherboard completely. So we then ordered you a new motherboard, this took no time to get here since the boards were readily available and in stock. We installed your new motherboard and had the system up and running, healthy as could be.
Nobody lied to anybody either, we didn't have to call you to give you status updates on your machine because you called every couple days.
As for you claiming that we changed your YouTube settings, that's impossible, we just replaced your hardware. Nothing was touched on the software-side of your computer. Furthermore, 2 Quick Clicks WILL NOT pay to have your computer repaired by another shop because there's nothing wrong with it. When you picked up the machine, it was fully working.
Not too sure why we should be prosecuted for criminal damaging either, nothing wrong was done. You didn't even have enough money to cover your bill when you came to pick up the machine with the Wooster PD. We were nice enough to adjust your bill with the money you had."
