***'s motorcycle is a Yamaha Virago which has always been a pain to work on due to the design of the engine and air induction systemAs *** has stated I did have a lot of problems getting the tuning righti had removed and replaced the carbs at least 10-times, each taking minutes to and
hour due to the design. I did everything according to all tuning specsUltrasonic cleaned the carbs, replaced the carbs top baffles, and rejected accorded to factory specsThis model has what they call a air induction system which regulates the air flow to the engineI also check that according to factory specsthe $included some parts but mostly laborAs for the tank having a scratch I, to my knowledge did not scratch the tankanother problem is that Jon installed after market pipes and that can and will cause problems in some bikes. When Jon picked up his bike I watched as he took off down Rt and his bike didn't have a single miss and ran perfectI feel that I had the bike running good and my tech who also worked on the bike was there and we both noted how good his bike soundedIf I had charged Jon the total amount of hours I had working on his bike the bill would have been double.*** ***wheel Creations

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I paid to have my bike tuned. It is not. So I paid for something I did not get, to me that is fraud. His web site states he guarantees his work. After having worked on my bike for over six months, it still is not running the way it should. If you can not fix something after that amount of time, then perhaps this bike was beyond his scope of expertise. Below is a statement from his website. I also attached a screenshot."Quality means that I guarantee my work every time I handle your machineIf it isn’t right the first time I will work until I can produce a product to your satisfactionI attempt to keep my prices as low as possible for you and for myself. If it isn’t right I will make sure that it is."

[redacted]'s motorcycle is a Yamaha Virago which has always been a pain to work on due to the design of the engine and air induction system. As [redacted] has stated I did have a lot of problems getting the tuning right. I had removed and replaced the carbs at least 10-20 times, each taking 45 minutes to and hour...

due to the design.  I did everything according to all tuning specs. Ultrasonic cleaned the carbs, replaced the carbs top baffles, and rejected accorded to factory specs. This model has what they call a air induction system which regulates the air flow to the engine. I also check that according to factory specs. the $350 included some parts but mostly labor. As for the tank having a scratch I, to my knowledge did not scratch the tank. another problem is that Jon installed after market pipes and that can and will cause problems in some bikes.  When Jon picked up his bike I watched as he took off down Rt 403 and his bike didn't have a single miss and ran perfect. I feel that I had the bike running good and my tech who also worked on the bike was there and we both noted how good his bike sounded. If I had charged Jon the total amount of hours I had working on his bike the bill would have been double.[redacted]2 wheel Creations

Review: I took my bike to be tuned on 6/9/2014. I was told 2 weeks for the job to be completed; it was not done. He returned my bike to me since he was leaving on a cross country trip. I took it back to him on October 13, 2014, since it was running worse than it did before. I purchased new intake manifolds, needle and seat valve, and carb slides, since these were worn. He had the carbs ultrasonically cleaned, but failed to change the fuel filter. I stopped in on January 19, 2015. The bike was not done. I returned on March 16, 2015, but bike was not done. I picked the bike up on April 11. I took it for a ride and it rode fine. Two hours later I took it for another ride, and barely made it home. I took it back down to him, on April 13, 2015. I picked it up April 17, 2015. He did not work on it and my tank had a scratch on it. The bike hesitates when starting out, and has stalled on me in the middle of an intersection. The plugs still get carbon fouled, just like it did prior to getting him to repair it.Desired Settlement: I must take the bike to the dealer and have it fixed again. I feel that 6+ months is more than sufficient time to tune a bike. I need the $350.00 that I paid him so I can take it to the dealer to have it properly repaired.
