2000 Nails Reviews (1)

When I arrived at 2000 nails I was seated. When the nail technician came to start working on my nails I showed her a picture and asked before she ever started working on my nails if she could do my nails like the picture and she stated, "Yes, I'll get it as close as I can". Since I was told that she could do the design that I wanted I asked if she could do my toes as well and she agreed too it. When the nail technician started my toes I asked him to not use the file that was he was about to use because it had already been used. Well the nail tech got mad. Half way doing my toes she asked for the money which was 53.00 for both my toes and my nails. Well as the guy was doing my toes I asked her if she could do a foot print design on my thumb and toes instead of the heart with the letters FAITH written in it that she had agreed to do in the first place. She stated it was would be 3.00 more. I told well never mind I will stick with the heart with the letters faith written inside the heart on my thumb and toe. She stated she didn't see the heart with the letters after she got my money and that would cost more also. I asked her if she could take the nails off and remove my toe nail polish for a full refund because she told me a different price before she ever got started with my nails. It wasn't my fault she didn't look at the picture clearly and agreed to do it. She stated, "No". I called the police, so that it could be on record that she agreed to do the design on the picture before she ever started. She did in fact inform the police this but because it was a money issue their wasn't anything that could be done by the police. So this is why I am contacting you. 1. Improperly sanitized equipment.2. She agreed to doing the nail design and an amount was agreed upon before she ever started on my nails and later after she got my money requested more money when I refused to give her more money, she wouldn't give me a full refund.Desired SettlementI would like the rest of my money back which is $38.00 since she was unable to provide me the service and price she agreed upon before she started working on my nails and toes.[redacted] came into our salon to get her nails done. Before she sat down she asked if we could do the design that she had on her phone. We told her that we couldn't do it exactly but something similar could be done. The design on her phone had the word "FAITH" could not be seen by our nail technical or by the police officer. Mrs. [redacted] based her whole premise of getting her nails done on that picture and that picture alone. So we worked on her nail; when it was done, Mrs. [redacted] decided to get her toes done also. We then proceed to work on her toes. Mrs. [redacted] then changed her mind about what design she wanted, so base on the type of design or what we do we let our clients know what the prices will be. If they change their mind on what they want, sometime the prices change. She got upset about the prices and wanted her money refunded. We refused so Mrs. [redacted] decided to call the police. All of our basic prices are on the price list when our clients walk in. We cannot possibility list every price differences for changes that we might do for a particular person. We talk to our clients and tell them the prices ahead of time and also any price changes for a particular design pattern. We communicate with our clients and do our best to advise them with what we can and can't do. So in the issue about the money, we only charge Mrs. [redacted] for what we have done for her, nothing more. After all that said, we only refunded her design money. The rest of the money that was not refunded was for services rendered. In regards of "Improperly sanitized equipment", Mrs. [redacted] is saying that out of spite and the comment is unjust. Currently our salon has a grade of "A" from the board of cosmetology. We are sorry that Mrs. [redacted] was not satisfied with our services. We do hope she is able to find another salon that will provide her with the services she deserves. But regarding the refund, that cannot be done because we did not cheat or lie to her on what we did for Mrs. [redacted]. We only charged Mrs. [redacted] for services rendered.
