FIRST OFF, LET ME STATE THAT THERE IS
ABSOLUTELY NO ROLLBACK ON THIS MITSUBISHI ECLIPSETHE COMPLAINANT PROVIDED AN AUTO-CHECK DOCUMENT WHICH SHOWS THE FOLLOWING; ON 5/2/MILEAGE=57,099-ON 7/3/MILEAGE= 266-ON 8/29/MILEAGE=57,(AGAIN) ASSUMING THIS IS THE DISCREPANCY WHICH LEADS THE COMPLAINANT TO BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS A ROLLBACK, SHE MUST ALSO BELIEVE THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN 56,MILES BETWEEN 7/3/AND 8/,A 2-MONTH PERIOD
I HAVE PROVIDED WITH THIS LETTER A COPY OF THE CARFAX, THE VEHICLE HISTORY REPORTS WE UTILIZE AT AUTO SALESWHILE I BELIEVE NEITHER AUTOCHECK NOR CARFAX IS 100% ACCURATRE 100%OF THE TIME VEHICLE HISTORY REPORTS SOMETHINGS HAVE TO BE

IN CONCLUSION, AUTO SALES IS NOT GUILTY OF ANY WRONGDOINGIF THE COMPLAINANT WAS CHEATED OUT OF MONEY IT WAS BY THE DEALER WHO, BY SIMPLY LOOKING AT THE ODOMETER DATA ON THE AUTOCHECK WOULD NOTICE THE OBVIOUS MISTAKEMY GUESS IS THEY DID NOTICE BUT, AS DEALERS SOMETIMES DO (NOT US), TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT AND USED IT TO GET THE CAR AS CHEAPLY AS POSSIBLEI WOULD SUGGEST SHE TAKE THIS CARFAX TO THE DEALER THAT BOUGHT HER CAR AT SUCH A LOW PRICE AND GET THE BALANCE OF THE QUOTED AMOUNT SINCE THERE ABSOLUTELY WAS NO ROLLBACKIF ONLY SHE BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO US BEFORE SHE WAS SO OBVIOUSLY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, WE WOULD HAVE GLADLY GIVEN HER $FOR THE CAR

As my information clearly shows in detail that at some point in that this odometer has been rolled back in order for sales of the vehicle or otherwise As law states this must be disclosed to a buyerI believe that he is very defensive in his response to the claim, which leads me to further believe that he knew about this rollback as the auction at which he purchased it from would also have to discloseEither by mistake or not in a typing error by the dmv the car was purchased from auto , and they are responsible for the vehicle and checking into it.No dealer would want a vehicle with this on it's record as now there is almost no value in the vehicleI will settle for less then the original amount at 450$ and I will stop showing everyone I can what happened and will stop telling people to not purchase vehicles from them.

Review: I recently purchased a car from them to be used for going to and from work. I was going to sell it after getting another vehicle from another dealer. Come to find out they never disclosed that the vehicles odometer was rolled back! This is illegal to not disclose this when a vehicle is purchased. Not only can it mess with the vehicle , it decreases the value and warrents it valueless as it's a tmu. And if you would privately sell the vehicle you could be sued. So instead of receiving fair market value of $1030, I could only receive $325. Due to the negligence of this company. I have been cheated out of money. I have the proof of rollback, I have proof what I would have received and what I did receive. And that the vehicle was sold to me with a warranty, which I found out would not even be able to be used for the engine because of the roll back on the odometer.I did call and leave a message and have not heard back.Desired Settlement: Since the company neglected to tell me that the odometer was rolled back , I lost money on the vehicle and believe they should have to reimburse me the difference of what I was quoted and what I received. They shouldn't be allowed to continue to sell vehicles
