Review: AFTER 4 MONTHS OF PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE CAR WAS OVER HEATING, AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC AND HAD MORE PROBLEMS.

I BOUGHT A 2004 LINCOLN LS SPORT IN APRIL 2013, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON BY JULY 2013. THE CAR OVER HEATED AND WAS NO LONGER DRIVABLE. I HAD IT TOWED AUGUST 4TH 2013. ONCE THE MECHANIC LOOKED AT IT, THERE WERE MORE ISSUES WITH THE CAR. I WAS TOLD THE THERMOSTAT WAS PUT ON BACKWARDS, SCREWS AND BOLTS WERE LOOSE. ITS BEEN WITH THE MECHANIC FOR A WEEK AND THERE ARE STILL MORE ISSUES HE IS FINDING WRONG WITH THE CAR. EVERY TIME I HAVE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP ASKING TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER HE IS NOT AVAILABLE. THEY TAKE MY INFORMATION BUT I NEVER RECEIVE A CALL BACK. NOW THAT I AM FIXING THE CAR ON MY OWN, THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY WILL GET THE CAR FIXED IF THE MECHANIC HAS A WRITTEN STATEMENT OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR, BUT IT IS ALREADY GETTING FIXED. PREVIOUSLY WHEN I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR AN ISSUE WITH THE WRONG COOLANT BEING PUT IN, BEFORE I PURCHASED THE CAR, THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS FINE WITH THE CAR AND DIDNT NEED TO BE DRAINED. THEY HAD SUPPOSEDLY DONE AN ALIGHNMENT ON THE TIRES AS WELL, AND THE TIRES ARE STILL OFF AND BURNING ONLY THE INSIDE OF THE TIRES. I WAS TOLD THE MISSING TRACTION BUTTON WOULD BE REPLACED, AND THAT WAS NEVER FIXED AS WELL. Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN THE CAR AND GET A REFUND FOR THE $1,500.00 I PUT FOR THE DOWN PAYMENT AT LEAST SINCE THE AUTO FINANCING COMPANY WILL NOT REFUND ME ANYTHING I HAVE ALREADY PAID ON THE CAR.

Review: I bought a car on Feb 25, 2013, the second day after my purchase I went over to Chevron, about less then a block away and my car started over heating. I called 209 Motors, and I spoke with the manager. He asked that I please take the car back to them so they could fix the problem. Later on, the check engine light came on, and I called them again and asked if it was possible to just trade the car. They told me no!

They fixed the thermostat, and the car still over heats. The car has been under their possession since May 13, 2013. That same morning I went and drove the car for 15 minutes, and again it over heated. During the time of the purchase I was 4 months pregnant, and now I'm 9 months, and I have not driven the car. It does not seem fair that I am paying payments on a car that doesn't work, this should not be happening. Desired Settlement: I want my car fixed, or to trade it in for one that actually works. It does not seem fair to have their customers be treated this way.
