20th Century Motel

Hello my name is [redacted]. I called and talks to a woman about what I am going to explain to you.. My email is [redacted]. I am emailing you today about a motel me and my family are staying in. The name of the motel is 20th century motel in West Memphis Arkansas. Direct address is [redacted] XXXXX. On 8/13/15 I confronted the owner about bed bugs in our room. Yet he still has not sprayed. I am disabled, my daughter is 7 months pregnant and her 2 children are 2 and 3. My grandson has bed bug bites everywhere on him and so does my daughter. I walked down to the office today to tell him once again that I killed a few bed bugs last night and to please spray. And so far nothing. Also someone broke the window next door and he never cleaned up the broken glass. Therefore my granddaughter got cut, so I myself had to clean it up. And as a motel, they are required to give us freshly clean towels daily and clean sheets. He told us we can no longer receive anything. We pay monthly here. So he took our old towels one day 2 weeks ago and told us we can't have clean ones anymore. I am sending an attachment to you of the bed bugs I have found in the bed. Also have videos. One more thing is we are not the only ones here that have bed bug issues.Business Response I appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. The situation you described regarding the Bed Bugs in the room is truly regrettable. We are very sorry for your experience. As this hotel's manager, I can assure you that the local Health Department has had a chance to come in and inspect the room and they did not have any positive evidence of bed bugs related to the room, to ensure your experience is not repeated. In regards to housekeeping all hotels have their own policy on when to provide housekeeping for guests. Typically with extended stay guests housekeeping is provided once a week to insure the room maintains its proper up keeping. Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback.
