Review: I brought the brand new silk blouse for steaming around mid-may. I picked it up and hang it in my closet. when I decided to wear it mid-june, I realized that it was damaged (the rubber on the bottom broke off). I brought the blouse back to dry cleaners, explained the situation. The young guy-owner, was very rude, he looked up the account and when he saw it was back in may he said there is nothing he can do and was very rude and unprofessional. I was there with my friend and with our 2 kids and he was just talking nasty. He basically admitted that it was his fault, however, since it was damaged over a month ago, he wont dot anything. He said go file a complaint, turned around and left.I feel horrible that we have so mean and arrogant business owners in our neighborhood. We were his customers for a long time and took my husband's work shirts to him frequently. The shirts often returned with missing buttons, but we were closing eyes on it and continued to use the shop since it's next block. However, the situation with the blouse is unacceptable. It cost me $4 to steam, when the blouse was ruined and I paid across the street $11 to fix the rubber. I want to get $12 from him. Of course it is not about the money but to teach people how to treat their customers with dignity and respect.thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: $15

Response:
This lady brought back a blouse that was only steamed about 6 weeks after she picked it up and complain that it was ruined. I would be more than happy to fix it with no charge if she brought it right back after she picked it up. But after 6 weeks, it was out of my policy. Despite my policy was explained, she demanded a repair or a compensation. I didn't agree with it and she was getting angry and rude. If they want to be treated with a dignity and respect, first they need to learn how to treat the others.
Thank you.
