21 Moments

Review: We (my parents, [redacted] and [redacted] and fiance, [redacted]) had hired and formed a contract with 21 Moments to provide photography services for our wedding on August 9, 2015. Our wedding package included an engagement photo shoot, day of wedding photography (pictures taken at home getting ready for the wedding as well as photos at the site of the wedding). 21 moments was to provide 2 photographers for the entire wedding (we were told until the last wedding guest left for the night). We made multiple attempts to contact 21 Moments in the months leading up to our wedding to make arrangements for an engagement photo shoot. 21 Moments gave us an excuse for every day that we chose for our engagement shooting as to why they could not provide the photo session on those days. 21 Moments indicated that they may be able to "squeeze us in for a weekend photo shoot" for an extra fee even though no day of week limitations for outlined in our photo contract. We were also told that 21 Moments would meet with us 1-2 days prior to our wedding to review the photos and plan for the day. 21 Moments never offered or provided this service to us. On the day of the wedding 2 photographers showed up at our house and were inappropriately dressed. Both photographers were dressed casually and our wedding was a formal event. The photographers were also rude to my entire wedding party..they yelled out orders and seemed annoyed when questions or requests for special photos were made. The photographers also left early before the wedding actually ended which was not agreed upon in our contract. We received notification that our wedding disc was available for pick-up via e-mail. When I contacted 21 Moments to inquire about making arrangements to pick-up the photo discs I was informed that I could only come between certain hours and on certain days of the week to a location in downtown Pittsburgh. The initial date that I had chosen with 21 Moments to pick up the photo disc, 21 Moments told me was not convenient for them. I was informed that I would have to wait an additional week. I was extremely upset. My parents attempted to contact 21 Moments to assist me in picking up the disc and 21 Moments told my mother "that she was not the bride, thus not their client and hung up on her." My husband ended up picking up the photo disc. When my husband and I reviewed the photos we chose photos from the disc that we would like in our photo album. We were informed to place notes next to the photos with any editing requests. We made a few requests such as editing out background such as a lights, or unnecessary photo clutter (a glass next to the wedding cake). 21 Moments indicated that they could not edit the photos in any way..again a breech of contract. I finally made arrangements to pick up my final photo album. 21 Moments and I had agreed upon a time. I had arrived 10 minutes early. When I arrived at the meeting location I was informed by the Doorman that 21 Moments does not have a location within the building. I contacted 21 Moments to inform them that I was at the meeting location and was informed that they do not have an office in the building. 21 Moments said that I would have to wait in the lobby of the building until one of their reps arrived. When the 21 Moment rep arrived he handed my wedding album to me in a black box that was damaged. I told the 21 Moment rep that the box was damaged and he replied "you didn't pay for the box, you paid for the album." I contacted 21 Moments to discuss my displeasure with their services as well as the multiple breaches of contract and unprofessionalism. 21 Moments said that they completed their job and were not willing to make any attempts to rectify the situation.Desired Settlement: 21 Moments was highly unprofessional. They made multiple breaches of contract. We would like the situation rectified in some manner. We did not receive an engagement photo shoot, they did not stay for the entire wedding, our photos were unable to be edited in any way. We would prefer a refund of services such as reimbursement for the engagement photo shoot costs, reimbursement for the time not spent at the wedding (the photographers were no where to be located the last hour of the wedding).
