Review: I intend to spend a week vacation in New York, next summer in August. Therefore, I contemplated renting a flat from 212suites.com. The rent for the 6-day period (from 08/**/2014 to 08/08/2014) amounted to $ 1,812.00. I had to make a prepayment of $ 362.40 by credit card, which I did. The [redacted] logo was mentioned on 212suites' website and I believed the payment processing was secured by PayPal. Hence, feeling confident, I communicated the full details of my Visa credit card. After having entered such information, I clicked on "Continue" but I did not get any confirmation neither of the booking nor of the payment. I only received a message saying: "You can view your order history by going to the 'My Account' page and by clicking on 'History'." These pages simply do not exist on the 212suites.com website! I then realized that my payment had not been processed through [redacted] (contrary to what was suggested by the presence of the [redacted] logo on 212suites.com website). I tried to contact the company by e-mail but I have not obtained any reply to date. I also tried to dial the phone number mentioned on the website, but no one picks up the phone. Eventually, I googled "212suites" and I found a lot of complaints relating to alleged frauds done by this company. I thus realized that I had been swindled. I contacted Visa in [redacted], tried to contest the payment and asked for my card to be stopped. But unfortunately, the payment had already been carried out.Desired Settlement: I would like my Visa credit card to be refunded of $ 362.40. According to my on-line credit card statement, this amount was debited on 11/**/2013 by a company by the name of "[redacted]
Review: On July [redacted] I booked an apartment for vacation in NYC, for 9 nights, during [redacted] Oct 2013 and [redacted] Oct 2013, and I made a required pre-payment of USD715.05. I paid the amount throught the website, with my credit card, and the amount was charged from my account on July [redacted].
As for the instructions provided for the check in, I was supposed to call ###-###-#### when arrived to the airport on the check in day and to check in at [redacted], Ground Floor.
On Monday ** October I wrote to 212 suites in order to confirm the procedures for the check in. I did not obtain response. On Tuesday [redacted] October I wrote again with no response to the emails provided in the 212suites website. After that I called the numbers provided on the website, but no anwser. Then I called to the number provided for the check in, and they said they have nothing to do with 212 suites, and that I was calling to a wrong company, they also confirmed that the address provided for the check in [redacted] is their addreess but not 212 suites. I kept on calling 212 suites with no luck. I asked a friend from NYC to call them. She managed to talk to them and they said that apparently there was a problem with the landlord and they could not provide accomodation. We asked 212 suites to credit back the amount to the credit card, but I have not receive it so far. During my stay in NYC I went to offices address provided in the 212 suites website, but there offices do not exist. I even went to the police and they tried to call the company with no luck.Desired Settlement: I want to be credit back the prepaid amount within 24h. From the due date tha unpaid amount shall bear interest from July [redacted] and including the day on which payment is actually made. In addition to that I claim indemnities due to the luck of service.
Review: Booked an apartment on the 212suite website [redacted] September, and paid the advance payment of 452 USD as requested. Recived an confirmation on the payment and the booking, but when I checked with them I got the answer that the apartment booked wasn't available and that they should refund my payment. Now I have contacted the four times, but with no luck. The last email was sent [redacted] November, and now I do not even get any reply from them. Would be grateful if you can help me.Desired Settlement: Refund of the money either to the credit card used or my paypal account connected to this email address.
