Review: My then fiance and I were really looking ward to going to a wedding fair, listen to a presentation on cookware and we win free wedding bands. After the presentation, we were so impressed with the product that we decided to get them. The gentleman who did the presentation told us there was 2% finance charge and if for any reason the cookware doesnt work as demonstrated, "his fathers company" will refund the money back to us. $2600 for 5 pieces of cookware and a knife set. Boy were we wrong!! Our foods kept burning and even after following the dvd to the T, it still go well. Now the nice part is, when I called the company to keep their promise of a refund they were so rude and disrespectful it felt like I was being pranked. Through persistence, they gave my information to some guy from California who gave me a call and promised to come show us how to use the cookware and never showed up. As of now my wife and I spent $200 on nonstick cookware from [redacted] that we are really satisfied with.Desired Settlement: All my family want is for this misleading company to take back their cookware and knife set and give us our money back. $2600 plus all the finance charges.

Review: In Janurary 2015 my fiance and I had won a drawing at a Bridal expo in Orange County. We had to attend a cooking demonstration for pots and pans. We declined the pots and pans, but won two nights in Punta Cana and one year membership to Passport To Value. We were given a card that we were supposed to mail in along with a check for $4.95 to receive an authorization code to use on the Passport To Value website. I sent in the money along with the card a couple weeks later. I didn't hear from them. I checked my bank account and they had cashed my check on 2/**/15. I called them and spoke to one of their reps to get an update. She said they had mailed out our authorization code the Friday before. After 3 weeks of not receiving anything, I called again and spoke to someone who said they could not find me in their system, but said they would mail me one anyway since I had told them they had cashed my check. 2-3 more weeks go by and still nothing. Called and spoke to [redacted] who said, once again, they can not find me in the system, but would mail us out the authorization code anyway. It's now 2 weeks later and still nothing. I'm very upset with this company and feel that no one should do business with them.Desired Settlement: I want my $4.95 refunded. When calling Passport to Value, it is ext **.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. The business emailed me with the authorization code and was able to join Passport To Value website. It's a shame that I had to take it this far to get what I paid for.
