In regards to the letter I received about case ID [redacted] .The Complaintant, came into the salon and got her hair colored by a stylist on 04/07/She told her stylist she loved it and was completely happy with itAs far as the price she claimed she paid $She failed to mention, that included a shampoo a conditioner and a $tip she left herHer services were $95.00.Myself nor the stylist were notified that she was unhappy with her hair untill she was sitting in another salon two days later with color onShe never attempted to call and have us adjust or change the color, or fix any of her perceived problemsThe complaintant did not ask for a refund from her services at my salon, rather she expected me to refund her the $bill she received from another salonThat is not our Policy at salon. The issue here is the complaintants lack of communication that she was unhappy with her resultsIf I was made aware of her unhappiness, and If I wasnt willing to fix her hair or help her in any way I could see her expecting a refund, and reporting me to the Revdex.comWhen I was made aware she wasnt happy I immediately told her I was sorry and would be more then happy to accomodate herShe stated "no apology necessary please just make sure your girls are more trained"At that point the conversation was overI would have fixed her problems & accomodated her at my salon if I knew about her unhappiness with her hair.I am open years and have never had a complaint! We are more then willing to please our customers and do whatever it takes to make them happyUnfortunately due to the way the complaintant went about this situtation, and the lack of communication about her unhappiness until after she had went to & recieved treatment, and was billed at another salon I was unable to rectify the complaintants perceived problemOur policy at salon, for over years is to accomodate & to fix to please any customer who may be unsatisfied with their resultsThis process & policy would have been followed as soon as we were notified of a problem.Thank you Clair B

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:As I stated in my initial complaint, I didn't realize how bad my hair really was until I washed and straightened it the next evening, Saturday, before work.  At that time, I contacted a stylist at [redacted]'s and made an appointment for the next day, Sunday.  Being that the owner of the salon suggested to the stylist that bleach looked "too thick" while my hair was being processed with it it and didn't evaluate the stylist's work at that time, I didn't feel comfortable going back to that salon to have the issue resolved.  Plus, they were closed Sunday and I had work at my full time job on that Monday, where I wouldn't have been able to cover up my hair.  When I had the conversation with the owner of 222 Salon, via [redacted], on Sunday when I was at [redacted]'s I sent her pictures of my hair, as a result from Friday, at which time she stated that she would have opened to accommodate me.  As previously stated in this letter and my original complaint, I didn't expect an immediate response back and didn't feel like anyone else at 222 Salon would have been capable of correcting my hair, so I went somewhere, [redacted]'s, where I knew, as in the past, did a good job.  I then asked her for a refund, or at least enough to cover my current bill from [redacted]'s Salon, which was denied.  The owner stated she does not give refunds, which I took as not even for what I spent in her place of business at 222 Salon.  I did advise her to make sure that her employees are trained properly because no one, including myself, wants to spend that much time and/or money for a salon service. At that time the conversation ended, via [redacted], and I attempted to write a review on 222 Salon's [redacted] page, which I was now blocked from.  For the owner stating that she has never received a bad review, it makes me wonder since I was blocked from writing one myself.  I feel that I should have been able to express my experience at the salon, which would have encouraged an open dialogue with both myself and the owner.  Now, for the $146.00 I put down, that was for the Revdex.com asking how much I spent for services, which I did.  The Revdex.com also asked how much I was seeking to claim back, however I left that blank.  I do not know the breakdown of the amount I spent for services and products.  I do know that the amount included a $20.00 tip as well.  I was leaving that up to the owner if she decided to resolve this matter.  Since the original complaint to the Revdex.com, I paid an additional $70.00 at [redacted]'s Salon for another session to tone my hair, since the brassy/orange color caused by 222 Salon was coming through again.  Regards,
[redacted]

In regards to the letter I received about case ID [redacted].The Complaintant, came into the salon and got her hair colored by a stylist on 04/07/2017. She told her stylist she loved it and was completely happy with it. As far as the price she claimed she paid $146.00. She failed to mention, that...

included a shampoo a conditioner and a $20 tip she left her. Her services were $95.00.Myself nor the stylist were notified that she was unhappy with her hair untill she was sitting in another salon two days later with color on. She never attempted to call and have us adjust or change the color, or fix any of her perceived problems. The complaintant did not ask for a refund from her services at my salon, rather she expected me to refund her the $200 bill she received from another salon. That is not our Policy at 222 salon. The issue here is the complaintants lack of communication that she was unhappy with her results. If I was made aware of her unhappiness, and If I wasnt willing to fix her hair or help her in any way I could see her expecting a refund, and reporting me to the Revdex.com. When I was made aware she wasnt happy I immediately told her I was sorry and would be more then happy to accomodate her. She stated "no apology necessary please just make sure your girls are more trained". At that point the conversation was over. I would have fixed her problems & accomodated her at my salon if I knew about her unhappiness with her hair.I am open 25 years and have never had a complaint! We are more then willing to please our customers and do whatever it takes to make them happy. Unfortunately due to the way the complaintant went about this situtation, and the lack of communication about her unhappiness until after she had went to & recieved treatment, and was billed at another salon I was unable to rectify the complaintants perceived problem. Our policy at 222 salon, for over 25 years is to accomodate & to fix to please any customer who may be unsatisfied with their results. This process & policy would have been followed as soon as we were notified of a problem.Thank you Clair B
