I am rejecting this response because: I know and they know that the snap buttons was in excellent condition. The whole reason I took pictures prior to the incident was to send them to someone so they could see the jacket was something they wish to purchase. Why would I lie about something like that, how did the paint on all nine buttons get knocked off. I can see if one or two was damaged then ok but all nine was uniformly demage it had to be something they did. I know things happen which isn't a big deal, the big deal is they won't acknowledge what they did. I been a loyal customer for many years. The cleaners demage the jacket and I didn't even get a sorry. The only other option I feel comfortable to except is a apology for demaging my jackect and coupon for free dry cleaning for the value of 40 dollars. I really don't think that's asking for much.

Dear [redacted],This is in response to the complaint which was submitted on 4/8/14 and assigned ID# [redacted].This customer brought in 14 items to be dry cleaned on 4/1/14. When the customer came to pick up the items there was no problem reported. Customer...
returned on 4/4/14 and stated his wife was dissatisfied with the way the sweater was cleaned and that several other items had some wrinkles. I immediately took the sweater back to dry clean again, I also repressed the items with the wrinkles, which looked as if the items were laid wrong when transported home, and the customer left satisfied. On 4/8/14 the customer returned with the sweater and stated that his wife was still dissatisfied with the sweater and that it was damaged because it was pilled. I talked with the customer and we came to an agreement that he would accept a store credit for 15 items at $2.25 each for a total of $33.75 and he left satisfied.Several hours later the customer’s wife called very upset and stated that she wanted $100.00 for the sweater and did not want store credit. I advised her that her husband had agreed to the resolution and if she wanted to discuss the matter any further she should come in to the store in person. She stated that the store was too far away and all she wanted was $100.00 for the sweater. The complainant has never come into our business, nor have they ever shown any proof that the sweater had a value that was greater than the value that the husband agreed to.Sincerely,

Dear [redacted]This is in response to the complaint which was submitted on 9/18/2014 and was assigned ID# [redacted].This customer brought in a basketball warm up jacket to be dry cleaned, when he returned to pick up the jacket he complained about the snap buttons...
being damaged. We dispute his claim for the following reasons:1. We have laundered many similar items in our machines without incident. The processes we use to dry clean these items would not have caused the type of damage that the customer complained of. 2. The damage appeared to have been caused from some sort of scraping which could not have been caused by our machines. 3. We dispute that the picture he presents of the jacket prior to cleaning at our store is the same jacket.
4. We dispute that the customer ever had a contract to sell the jacket as represented.
Notwithstanding we will issue a refund of the dry cleaning charge to resolve this issue if the customer agrees that such measure will resolve this dispute.
Sincerely,
Carlos N

I am rejecting this response because:
My husband took the receipt for the sweater into the business and showed it to the owner when he went back to pick it up. He did provide proof that the value of the sweater was more than the resolution being offered and the owner would still not agree to a different resolution.
Furthermore, my husband did not leave satisfied with the resolution and argued with the owner to which the owner refused. As far as the other 14 items go- they were hung in the car and not laid flat. Please see attached email as proof that the value of the sweater is more than the resolution being offered.
